The Diary Game [28/01/2025] Work From Home and Run Errands in Town.

Steem greetings @everyone and welcome to my blog as I share my lifestyle content with you all. It is another beautiful day to rejoice in the marvellous things God has been doing for me and my family. The last few days I have been overworking myself and today I decided to work from home. Working from home is more stressful for me because of my toddler who will not listen to anyone unless I give him all the attention he needs.

I had to wake up early to prepare my kids for school and guys this week will be one of the most stressful weeks for me in my entire existence. My husband will be travelling out of town and coupling with school runs and work will not be easy for me.

That said, I woke up as early as 4:30 AM on this day to prepare the kids for school. I heated water for them to bathe because the temperature was cold and I prepared them breakfast. I went for noodles because it was easy for me to get them ready. While they were taking their bath, I hurriedly washed dirty dishes and drycleaned the house.

While my kids were ready for school, my husband had to assist in dropping them off on campus today. I had to wash my kid's dirty dresses and take my shower before engaging in my work online. I had a lot of uncompleted tasks to do before the month ran out. I had to concentrate for about 4 hours and complete the pending tasks first before taking on the monthly evaluation to see where we lacking and where progress was made and do the necessary adjustments for the upcoming month.

One thing I like working from home is that you are free to do your things at your own paste without any pressure though you need to respect deadlines. In the afternoon period, I had to stop work and run some errands in town for my elder sister. She wanted me to buy her some things and send them through the bus station.

I walked through the market to get the items required by my sister. It was almost rush hour and soon the main gate to the market was closed. I hurried the storekeeper to arrange the things for me to carry to the bus station. We made the prices and I paid while he packaged the things well for me to carry to the bus station.

When I was leaving the house, I got a call from someone who needed a ringlight for his videography. We had agreed on the price and I took it along while we arranged to meet at the market. He directed me to his mom’s shop to drop the ring lights there and the mom will pay. I quickly dropped it with the mom and collected my money.

To take the things I bought to the bus station, I had to hire the services of a truck that carried the things to the roadside and I boarded a taxi to the bus station. While at the bus station, I paid for the things and a ticket was issued and stocked on the bags. I ensured the things were put in the bus cabin before I left the bus station.

I communicated with my sister and informed her the time she should go to the bus station to collect her parcels. I took a cab back home. While at home, I was hungry and I decided to make a fast food and one of the local delicacies in Cameroon cuisine, miondo and groundnuts paste.

After eating, I drank enough water to digest the meal. I relaxed a bit before completing my tasks for the day. I need to go to bed early enough because school runs tomorrow will not be an easy ride and until my next diary, it is a good night from my end 🫶💪.
