The Diary Game [16/02/2025] // A Day with the Kids at Home.

Steem greetings @everyone and welcome to another day with me as I share my lifestyle content. Another day to worship God as Christians and also thanking God for giving us another opportunity to see a new bright day.

Today was one of those days I wake up feeling weak and I just needed enough rest to catch up with my kids as it is weekend. I had promised them to take them out at a playing ground but when I woke up it wasn’t easy on me. I slept late last night trying to catch up with my workload for the month. I could not go to church either but I tried to follow the church service online.

My husband assisted in cleaning the house while I prepared breakfast. I prepared fried ripe plantains with eggs. I always feed my kids to ensure they eat properly for the day. They do not like eating especially when I allowed them to eat alone.

When I was done feeding them for breakfast, I had to prepare lunch. Remember I bought huckleberry the previous day to cook lunch today. I had to wash the huckleberry well to remove all the dust on the leaves. I slice fresh tomatoes and onion and boiled the huckleberry. After preparing the huckleberry, I went ahead to cook fufu corn. By 2:00 PM, lunch was ready.

It was also soccer time and I switched on the TV to watch the English premier league game between Liverpool versus Wolves. I was watching with the company of some Manchester City and Arsenal fans and their prayer was to see Liverpool lost the game so that they will stand a chance to catch-up on the league table. Unfortunately for them, Liverpool pull through with ease. The game ended 2:1 in favour of Liverpool.

Liverpool still stand at the top position with 16 points different to Manchester City and 13 points different to Nottingham forest and 7 points ahead of Arsenal.

I had to take some snacks while preparing to watch the game between Manchester United versus Tottenham. Here we all were supporting United due to our national team goalkeeper Andre Onana. Unfortunately, it was a hard pill to swallow for United fans as they lost 1:0 .

After watching the soccer games, I started watching a series titled “Grimm”. I could not continue watching because I was feeling sleepy and needed to call it a day. Until my next diary session guys, it is good night from my end and happy new week in advance to everyone.
