What a party night!
My best day contest (15th /02/2021)
Association’s elections campaign turns in to a party night.
Dear Stemians, good evening from Blue Pearl Hotel in Bamenda. Today the 15th of March 2021 we had an ex-student camping at Blue Pearl Hotel ahead of the Associations two strategic meetings.
At the reception I starte recieving my friends members of the association.
Today has championed my week as the best day of the week because a lot of interesting things have happened, I have been appointed head of resolutions committee and I will be sharing the content of the first political resolution I drafted in the last meetings to chieved the political aspirations of the Bamenda Branch, secondly we had a lot of fun.
1, There is a lot to eat and drink .
The lady hired to prepare food failed and we begged for a home around the hotel and our social ladies prepared
3, A lot of music and enjoyment
That is a very special day of the week.
We had marimaking (meriment)
Our Associations next meetig shall be in Baffousam that shall be the adoption of the constitution and the next one in Dschang City shall be the elections proper.
On my personal not the fantastic moments of this day of March 2021 can’t be forgotten because of the positive energy energy and the solidarity that we share together S BROTHERS & SISTERS .
As an Ex-Student Chapter Branch controlled by the national executive headed by an Interim president. We have started secret Campaigns to topple the regime. All National branches are supposed to hold meetings and Bamenda this time was supposed to hold a meeting including the hosting of all branches but the national president refused to validate it as a national meeting due to some reasons.
I was appointed to be the chief of resolutions and my responsibility in the Bamenda Branch was to draft resolutions to address the concerns and the political aspirations of the Bamenda branch in the National association. Secretly we already have a secret candidate for the next elections and we are already having a nice time with them already. They sponsor our events and refreshments, supplies and logistics. We already have some financial power to hijack the national association through a political campaign and today in Bamenda, we have aligned some strategies to move to other towns.
My first draft resolution to the President in Baffoussam by email today.
In deep regret, disappointment and dissatisfaction with the decision of the interim government, maybe because of lack of a governing constitution, we all agreed after deliberating upon the following:-
Considering the decision made by the inconsistent government to prematurely postpone the Bamenda meeting for reasons known to them at the eve of the event, we decided not to challenge the purported decision of the interim government for the any lapses whatever for this administrative lacuna maybe caused by the adsence of binding laws to the administration to regulate the function of this de facto leadership.
Taking note of this alleged decision, we therefore, decided to hold the meeting as a Bamenda Chapter event notwithstanding or despite of the presence of Miss Clarise and Mr. Ambrose who came all the way from Yaoundé as National Chapter members for the planned national meeting. In this derogatory ruling ,due to the inconveniences caused to the two personalities and upon the fact that after dialoguing with the interim government to recognized the Bamenda Event and avoid this misfortune to no avail, we explained and apologized to them who came from Yaoundé for this administrative intransigence and thus have also decided that we Bamenda will not hold this very planned meeting.
Whatever the differences, we recommend the hastening of the adoption of the Nsalav Constitution to help legalize Nsalav for external reasons and also for internal reasons to avoid any administrative miscarriage in future as Nsalav is growing it tentacles nationally.
Inadhearence to our own considerations through deliberations and the need to maturely react to the repugnant approach addressed above, we decided that the three (3) thousands francs contributions that was to be used for the Bamenda event shall be used as our own contributions for the next Nsalav official event in Baffousssam . It will inform people of their rights and responsibilities thus the need for hastening of the processes of adopting the constitution because of the present lapses as NSALAV is not yet having any binding rules until this document is adopted. We therefore recommend that this should be done very soon and we recommend the next meeting to have this at the top of it agenda and in the next session shall be elections in which ever city that may host, and possibly in Dschang.
We all endorsed this in fact and figures beyond natural justice equity and good conscience for the sake of posterity and growth in our association and therefore we decided not to challenge in anyway the authority of the Interim Government.
In conclusion, incognizance of the fact that Nsalav is growing to full scale with it national expansion strategy, our main recommendations are the hastening of discussions by the exco and adding the final adoption as the main target of the next meeting and to which Elections should follow in the subsequent sitting.
Considering the rights and freedom of expression and association, we also encourage official campaigns to be launched ahead immediately to give ample campaign time to the political dons at the throw of the dice to animate the grounds at this time of elections building, back of our lovely association in a more democratic way for posterity.
Nsalav we went far better that it could have been ever imagined by it founders and that is the spirit we encourage in this prospective election. United we stand, divided we fall.
