My moments in 2024 (My 2024 Diary)

Greetings beautiful people, am glad to have you grace my blog and today I would be sharing with us my diary of 2024. The year 2024 was a roller coaster of experiences from the beginning to the end. I experienced the good, the bad and the ugly but all of this made the year worth while and a year to be grateful to God for.

My year started quiet very eventful and if am to detail all of it’s happenings then this diary would not be enough to contain all the experiences hence I would just share some of my experiences.

	18th January, organized seminar for the students

Early in the year I organized an academic seminar with some members of my team to reach out to some students and teach them some academic principles to help them in their academics and also pray for them. It was a three day meeting and was quite interesting as we had about three hundred students grace that occasion. We impacted them and also prayed for them. This meeting happened in the easterner part of Nigeria between 17-19th January.

Towards the ending of January, I left the east and relocated to the the western part of my country and we had a threshing floor meeting with some of my colleagues. It was a meeting that lasted for two months but the first four days had us all staying in one place learning and praying and eating together. It was a heart warming experience which we later separated to our different locations but kept coming together again till the end of the meeting.

The month of March and April had us going into the street to reach out to some boys who were living under the bridge and some were living on the rails ways tracks. We talked to them, fed them and invited some to church to pray for them. It was a hectic period but it was really worth all of it. The lives of many were impacted and changed.

The year at this point told me it’s like am having too much fun and then came a major set back for me in the year in the month of May. I had a terrible heart break. While I was busy thinking it was my wedding year, I didn’t know I was in for a major heart break. My relationship of two years was called off in a rather terrible and bizzare way with strange and unseeming stories behind the whole incident. I was shattered and heart broken. I cried and cried.

May, June and July weren’t funny . I was depressed almost the entire part of the year due to this incident. As if that’s not enough. In the month of July, my sister In-law gave birth to triplets. Two girls and one boy. The boy died. We were left with the two girls. It was a time of both mourning and laughter. Morning because we lost the boy and joy because we have the girls. It would have been worse but in all things we give God praise.

	19th July, twin addition to the family

September was my birthday month and I was already having a tough year but I decided I was going to take myself out and do something to make me happy. For the first time in my life, I visited the beach. I bought some gifts for myself and made sure I had a great birth day. It was a good time as it helped me to relieve myself of some of the strain and pain I have been through.

On October our twin girls went to church. The remaining part of the year was uneventful and proceeded with our normal activities until the ending part of the year which was the Christmas season. We had a family hangout at the beach. It was a beautiful time of bonding and healing. I had the best Christmas so far.

The year started well, the middle was very challenging and the end was good. Hence both the good, the bad and the ugly made the year beautiful. I came out better and stronger. It was indeed a year to remember and that’s it for my 2024 diary. Hope you enjoyed reading through.
