The Diary Game (Saturday, November 09, 2024) Activities at the Photocopy Business and at the Cocoa Plantation
Hello everyone, friends...
It's great that we can meet again. I'll share a story about The Diary Game, I hope my friends like it.
The rain that poured last night caused some of the roads in the Keude Amplah market to become muddy. There have been several changes in regional heads but the roads have not been paved, most of the candidates who have not only made sweet promises. Once they are elected as regional heads, let alone keeping their promises, they don't even have time to come like before to meet the people who voted for them during the election.
Even though it's muddy and the rain is still drizzling, I still go to the coffee shop to buy a packet of coffee and a few pieces of cake for breakfast. Even students are still enthusiastic about going to school even though it's drizzling because they are currently taking their final semester exams. If it rains like this, my place of business becomes quiet because no buyers come except for those who really need it.
This way I have a lot of time to interact on the Steemit platform to find inspiration and think about ideas for participating in contests initiated by the Steem Venezuela community team. Occasionally my concentration is disturbed when a buyer comes but that will be quickly resolved after I reread the context that must be described in the contest being participated in.
During the school break, several junior high school students were sitting on the terrace of my shop waiting to be picked up by their parents. I asked them casually what the abbreviation of the place where they went to school stood for. Unfortunately, none of them could answer it even though some of them had almost graduated from the school.
It is very ironic that the misuse of smartphone technology has made them unable to answer even the easiest questions. They are too busy playing games and interacting on useless social media. This technological advancement is expected to make people smarter, but if it is misused by school-age children without parental supervision, this is the result.
Yesterday my wife received an order to print wedding invitation cards from a customer, but she forgot to tell me. As soon as she remembered, my wife immediately informed me that the order to print the invitation cards had to be done as soon as possible because the customer had submitted a deposit. While I had no other work, I started working on printing the wedding invitation cards ordered by the customer so that they could be finished as soon as possible.
In the afternoon, it has become a routine for me to go to the garden to monitor the development of the cocoa plants and provide care. Some of my cocoa plants have started to grow shady twigs and branches again, which block sunlight from shining on the cocoa stems which function as stimulants for the growth of the fruit buds. Currently, the growth of twigs is very fast because it is the rainy season.
Likewise, small grasses are starting to grow at the base of the stems and this must be cleaned immediately so as not to interfere with the absorption of soil nutrients by the cocoa plants. For this job, I have to ask for help from my friend Abdul Adib because he has the expertise to make plates at the base of the cocoa plant. And I can't do this today, waiting for Abdul Adib's readiness when it can be done.
I prune the branches and twigs that are starting to grow shady using a saw and plant shears so that my cocoa plants become as expected. The key to fruiting in cocoa plants, in addition to fertilization, must also be done regularly pruning the twigs and branches.
The twigs and branches that had been pruned were then collected in one place to be burned for smoking in the garden so that pests would not come. At 18:00 I went home to take an afternoon shower and wait for the time of Maghrib prayer.
So that's my short The Diary Game for today, that's all and thank you for taking the time to read my writing and giving me support as encouragement to always present better works.
All photos shown here were taken with my iPhone 12 Pro Max.
