Even though my body felt tired and sore from working too hard while dealing with the flood disaster that hit two days ago, today I had to go to the oil palm plantation with the new plantation guard to do the first harvest with him. This new plantation guard replaced the old guard for one reason or another. The area of ​​my oil palm plantation is only one hectare, not comparable to the people around my plantation who on average have large areas of land.

When I arrived at the oil palm plantation, the plantation guard who worked with his wife immediately picked the oil palms using a sickle with a long pole. I just watched from afar the togetherness of the family working to pick the oil palms. And I went around my plantation area which was said to have never been fertilized by the old guard, even though the report was that there was fertilization every 6 months. There I also noticed 3 of my oil palm trees had fallen due to their fragile roots.

The weather today is very hot even though two days ago it was hit by heavy rain that caused flooding. My palm oil plantation is located close to a vast expanse of rice fields, where the rice plants are growing lush and green and about to bear fruit. While picking the palm oil, I asked the plantation keeper to pick some young coconuts to be made into young coconut ice later when breaking the fast. After the young coconuts were picked, the plantation keeper helped me peel them so that I could easily take them home.

In the afternoon I fulfilled my little girl's wish who asked me to go to the culinary market in Krueng Geukueh to buy contemporary food for the menu for breaking the fast later. During this year's Ramadan fast, this was the first time my daughter asked me to go there to buy the food she wanted. As a father who loves my children, of course I am very happy to fulfill their wish to buy food for breaking the fast, especially since they are very diligent in carrying out the fast.

In the Krueng Geukueh culinary market, there are many types of contemporary fresh food and drinks sold that are very popular with teenagers. I don't even know the names of the contemporary fresh food and drinks which on average end with the name of a foreign country. Today's children who often interact with social media know all the contemporary fresh food and drinks that are currently viral. My daughter asked to buy some of them.

After breaking the fast and Maghrib prayers, I went to the mosque with my eldest son to perform Isha prayers and Tarawih prayers in congregation.
