The Diary Game (Monday, July 7, 2025) Shopping for Photocopy Shop Supplies and Power-Up Steemit Account

It's great that we can meet again. I'll share a story about The Diary Game, I hope my friends like it.

^{Meeting a former stationery wholesaler}

To welcome the new 2025/2026 school year, I plan to buy stationery to supplement my photocopy shop's inventory. Before I go shopping, I jot down the names of the items I need to buy on a piece of paper to make it easier when I arrive at the stationery wholesaler. For the new school year, items that should be more readily available at the photocopy shop include notebooks, pens, pencils, rollers, pencil cases in various shapes and models, erasers, book covers, and various other school supplies.

During the new school year, many street vendors often appear selling notebooks. They often engage in unfair competition with each other, offering the lowest possible prices. Buyers, tempted by the extremely low prices, rush to buy from these vendors, even though the paper used in these inexpensive books isn't necessarily good quality; most use very thin paper. Disappointed buyers often have no way to return their notebooks, as these vendors don't stay in one place.

Arriving at the stationery wholesaler, I handed my shopping list to a worker to help me find the items I needed. There, I met a former employee who had worked at the store. He now owns his own business, a mobile rice mill. Every time I met him, he always laughed at my antics, taking photos for my daily Steemit story. We shared stories about our respective activities. Besides his business, he had been recognized as a prominent figure in his village.

While waiting for my groceries to be packed, I went to a cellphone and accessories store to replace my eldest son's swollen smartphone battery. My son loves playing games on his smartphone; the phone he's been playing with has been a prize he won in an online game. He frequently participates in tournaments like "Free Fire" and "Mobile Legends." The owner of this cellphone and accessories store is an acquaintance of mine, and he often offers me discounts on smartphone repairs.

My groceries were packed, and I was just waiting to see how much I had to pay. Meanwhile, the staff at the stationery wholesaler helped me strap my groceries onto my motorcycle for easy transportation. I should have brought this much groceries home by car, but my sister had borrowed my car to go out of town for an errand. The customers at the wholesaler wondered if I could carry that much groceries home on a motorcycle.

That night, I took out all the groceries and wrote down the selling prices so customers would remember them easily. To ensure everything was ready, as the prices had to be neatly arranged on the shelves, my wife asked a friend to help her write the prices and arrange them neatly on the glass shelves. As a token of my gratitude, I ordered a cold drink and a portion of egg martabak each for us to drink and eat together after work was done.

While writing this daily story, I did a Power-Up on my steemit account. I feel very happy because a week ago the amount of Steem Power that I have has reached the target of achieving the second clubdolphin. The amount of STEEM that I will Power-Up is 25.682 STEEM. The amount of Steem Power before the Power-Up was 10,587.722 STEEM.

After the Power-Up, the amount of my Steem Power increased to 10,613.404 STEEM. I did this Power-Up so that I can grow and develop together with all my steemian friends. I will continue to do Power-Up on as many steemit accounts as possible so that I can help other friends.
