Have you ever had to deal with vain people?

Vanity is one of the character feature and sometimes people can be grown up being vain, maybe that could happen in situation when the family have everything, maybe rich families who do not care about financial situation, have people at home who do house keeping, baby sitting, gardener and maybe chauffeur, who is bringing people and often children to every destination.

I think in children it is easy to grown up spoiled and to develop that character.

I did have my schoolmate when I was in younger classes, who mother was a director of school and she felt that it is everything allowed to her. I remember her saying that if anyone did something she announced that she will report it to her mother. Of course, there were children who then tried to be a good friend of her so that they also have a protective friend. But there were many who still treated the person normal.

Is it necessary that, on certain occasions, we should behave in a vain manner?

I do not really know if we should behave vain, maybe because I do not think it will have a good end. People do not like those who behave vain and will try to avoid those people. Sometimes people speak behind such people’s back and maybe even laugh about, that is something not pleasant. Even though if something is really beautiful or maybe someone is very clever, it is not the reason to behave and to present those qualities because people always notice how beautiful a person is or people definitely notice how clever some people are, so just take time and wait.

Do you think that behind vanity there is a problem of insecurity?

I do not think that there is an insecurity behind of vanity. Maybe pride being beautiful, being clever, being powerful. Such people definitely feel maybe over secure even in there is something wrong they do not realise that and often they do not accept their own mistake.

It is said that certain people, through their excessive expressions of humility, hide a high degree of vanity. Do you agree with this statement?

That is an interesting expression, but this is something that I never heard before and I do not think that it is a truth. Humility and Vanity are two completely different type of feature of human character and I can not imagine that one person can combine both of them. But human nature is very complex and we are so different therefore, never say never :)
