RE: The Power of Your Mind.

Yes, I also think that it is important to observe our thoughts. However, I think that you can achieve anything with positive thinking is more esoteric gobbledygook or wishful thinking. For the most part, we have no influence on what happens on the outside, we can only make the best of it.

that’s why we’ve to guard what enters our mind

That's exactly how I see it. And it's not always easy. It reminds me of the story of the two wolves that you may know:

One evening an old Indian told his grandson about the battle that takes place in people's minds. He said:

My son, that's where the two wolves that live in all of us fight.

One is unhappiness: fear, worry, anger, jealousy, sorrow, self-pity, resentment and feelings of inferiority.

The other is happiness: joy, love, hope, cheerfulness, kindness, generosity, truth and compassion.

The grandson thought about it for a moment and then asked, “Which wolf wins?”

The old Indian replied: “The one you feed.”

So let's watch out together which wolf we feed!

This is a beautiful story!! It summarizes the whole post. But like you said, it’s not as easy as we think and to a large extent, the environment we find ourselves, influences our thoughts, it takes a person with strong will to break out.
