Hello friends I am happy that I am participating in this week challenge, in cooking we are not perfect so this is the avenue we learned new recipes and we get perfected as times goes on.
Tell us about your experience with outdoor food, what do you like to prepare, do you enjoy the process?
Outdoor food has always been my favorite meal because of the taste, there is that special taste and feelings that I always have any time I cook outside. With the courses I have learned different dishes that I can cook when ever I am camping, be it church program or picnic. Due to the contest rules, the dishes that I will love to prepare us Pahuevo because the preparation is not difficult and is very easy and comfortable
Another outdoor dish that I will be preparing is Hunter bread, the recipes are very simple for anyone to learn and also practice
In life we learn everyday and preparing this new recipes was so enjoyable, this is because I enjoy even the fresh air and it was very fast to cook because of the fire I was using, what amazed me was the outcome and I will be cooking it time to time. I never believe one can bake bread without oven or the local method we have been using and today I was able to bake bread and I enjoyed it with my neighbor that comes around.
Prepare two of the 3 recipes explained in the course and present them creatively
The two recipes I will love to prepare out of the three recipes which was shared are pahuevo and hunter bread, but firstly I will start with pahuevo
I was so curious to know which country that owns this food and I find out that is is a traditional South American dish that is very simple to prepare and is very delicious. The ingredients used are very simple and you can find it anyway.
the ingredients used in preparing pahuevo are:
✍️ Aluminum foil paper
✍️Irish potatoes
✍️ Eggs
✍️Salt
The steps I use were:
- The first thing was I wash my potatoes very well, in this course, I decided to use 3 potatoes, 1 big size and 2 small sizes, why it is so is because there was no big size in the market.
- after washing the potatoes i cutt off the top tips. Using my kitchen knife, I carefully remove the core of the potato that is to create a hole.
As you can see in the picture that after cutting the top, I place it side by side with the potatoes that I removed the core, why because I don't want to mixed up the cover when I am using again.
- what I did next was to beat an egg for each potatoes, one egg was for the big potatoes and the remaining one was for the two small potatoes. So after beating the egg, I added salt, and then I fill each potato with the egg mixture. And when I was done with filling, I Place the lid back on top of the potato and i wrap it tightly in aluminum foil, this is to prevent the eggs from falling, and I also sprinkle a little salt around the potatoes so as to give a very good taste. After that I wrap it very tight and smooth.

- Then the core of the potatoes was there, so I added salt then I wrap it with the aluminum foil paper, I make sure I wrap it very well.
- when I was done wrapping the potatoes I place it directly into the embers of a fire and cook for about 30 minutes, I make sure I rotate them at 10 minutes interval until when I touch them and I noticed it was soft and i remove the potatoes from the embers and I carefully unwrap the foil and I saw that the eggs were well cooked and the potatoes was perfectly cooked.

Pahuevo is a delicious dish that is very good to the health, imagine cooking potatoes and eggs without the use of oil and it came out very delicious, I eat it as my breakfast and uptill now I am still full as if I just finished eating.
If you haven't try this recipe, I recommend it for everyone expercially those that want to lose fat.
Now my second recipes as been shown in the course is hunters bread, I will be sharing with us how I prepare it.
Hunter's bread is one of the outdoor cooking that quench that taste of hunger, the ingredients used are very simple. You don't have to break the bank before you can prepare it. Is one of the simplest recipes that any one can do
ingredients for hunters bread
❣️A cup of Wheat flour
❣️ One teaspoon of Sugar
❣️ A tip of Salt
❣️ A little Water
❣️ Rolling stick
- firstly I gather all the ingredients that I will be using then I added them together, that is the flour, sugar and the salt in my mixing bowl then I mix it very well until it becomes a dough.
- after that I cover it and keep for some minutes then I use my hand and stretch to become a long strip.

- then I roll the dough around the wooden stick then I place in on an open flames with the support of the stick around it. I let it cook for some minutes and I turn it around so that all part can be well cooked , when it was golden brown, I brought it down and my bread was ready to be consumed.

Which of the recipes was the easiest and the most difficult for you? Why?
Based on my experience so far which I have make the two recipes, I will say the hunter bread was the easiest recipe so far.
The Hunter Bread was the easiest recipe because it was not stressful and the ingredients involved was not much and it does not really need a specialist to make it, and is not time consuming.
Most Difficult Recipe: Pahuevo
The Pahuevo recipe was the difficult recipe, it was so challenging and one needs to be very careful while creating the hole for the egg filling then covering it and wrapping it with the aluminum foil is another challenging thing, you will have to fix your hand well while wrapping it so that the lid can be well covered.

The steemians I will love to invite eat my preparation is @ngoenyi, my reasons for picking her is because she is in the same state with me and she will not be able to give excuses, another reason I will pick her is that I know she is an outdoor person and she will love my recipe
For me to invite her I will love to go under the comments section with a little comment like " hello @ngoenyi, I believe you are fine and you are doing very well, please there is this new outdoor recipe which I have experience and I will love you to join me for the meal. Though I have prepare hunter bread and pahuevo and I believe you will love to have a taste of it
