What would have happened to me if...?
Hello Steemains, it is wonderful to share my side of the story as regards the topic "What would have happened to me if...?". This contest captures our experience of what might have been the outcome of our things when they were negative and positive, all the same, stem on.
It all started with a wonderful Monday morning. This is usually the first day of the new week in school, and after I woke up in the morning, it turned out that I was late and missed the school bus. This made me decide not to go to school anymore. I didn't want to go to school by public transport. I then told my mom that I would prefer to stay at home and that I would attend school the next day Tuesday. My mom didn't agree with my saying that I had to go to school, especially because it was Monday, and a lot of activities took place on Monday.
I then told her that whatever happened in school on Monday would not matter as much as she thought; I told her that I would go to school tomorrow, copy the notes I had to, and also ask my colleagues who went to school if there was any homework. She then went to her purse 👛, removed some money, and told me to go to school immediately. I was angry because I saw that day as a time for resting. After all, Monday is mostly stressful in school. But still, I had no choice but to go to school because not going would mean that I disregarded her supremacy as my mother, which would not be a wise option to take.
I then walked outside to the gate of the barracks and started looking for a motorcycle that would take me to school. It took me twenty minutes before I could find a cyclist heading to my destination; I wanted to look for the cyclist who would drop me exactly at the gate of my school. When I got to school, I discovered that the students had all done their morning activities; the senior students were at the gate when I was dropped off, and they told me to run in and perform my morning duties. When I got to the class, I discovered that I had little time for that, which was about 10 minutes before the morning assembly.
I did my morning duties as fast as I could and I went to join others in the assembly area. After we were done with the assembly, classes began with different teachers teaching from J S 1 to S S 3. My class started with an English language teacher teaching us about prefixes and suffixes. After the English language, the Biology teacher came in and told us about Respiration, letting us know that there are two main types, which are aerobic and anaerobic respiration.
When the Biology teacher was done with the lecture, The mathematics teacher came and taught us about (AP) arithmetic progression. Telling us about the topic, where a = first term, d = common difference, etc. He then gave us an unexpected test; I was really glad I came to school; I now understand that proverb that says "What an elder sees while sitting, even if a little kid climbs an iroko tree, he will not see it". My mother's persuasive act of me going to school paid off big time; I wonder what would have happened to me if I had not come to school that day; I might have had to write a substitute test all alone because 97% of my classmates came to school that day.
