Hello my dear steemit friends. I hope you are all well by the grace of Allah, I am also well Alhamdulillah. I am here with a new post again, welcome to my new post, I hope you will like my post. The post is about The story of coming home from Dhaka so let's start........

The story of coming home from Dhaka
The college is closed for the month of Ramadan. I stayed in Dhaka for a few days. The reason for staying in Dhaka, as you all know, was because I bought a phone and did some shopping. After spending a few days, I decided to go back to my village since the vacation was long.

The day before returning home, I called the Royal counter in the evening and confirmed my ticket. The next day, my bus was at 7 AM. Since it was the month of Ramadan, I didn't have much time after Sehri. After having Sehri, I started packing my bag. While packing, I realized it was almost time for my bus. My brother dropped me off at the bus. Since I was leaving early in the morning, there was no traffic in Dhaka. The bus was beautifully decorated, mainly because Royal Express had launched a new bus for Eid, and I got a seat on that new bus.

Since I hadn’t slept much that night, I started feeling extremely sleepy as soon as I got on the bus. I fell asleep right after the bus started. Since we left early in the morning, we didn’t hit any traffic, and the journey was very fast. We reached the Daulatdia ferry terminal quite quickly, much sooner than I expected. I hadn’t realized anything because I was sleeping. I got on the ferry around 9:30 AM, and shortly after boarding, the ferry left.

When traveling by ferry at other times, I usually enjoy eating spicy puffed rice (Jhal Muri), as the pleasure of eating it on the ferry is unique. However, since I was fasting during Ramadan, I didn’t have the chance to eat Jhal Muri this time. I saw people selling Jhal Muri, and it reminded me of the old days. Every time I had come before, I had always eaten Jhal Muri. I saw many people buying it, probably because they weren't fasting. Nearby, I noticed someone selling ripe guavas. On the ferry, you can find a variety of snacks like Jhal Muri, guava, pineapple, etc., being sold in large quantities. There was also a man selling coconuts. These people are running their businesses on the ferry, striving for their own progress.

While I was sitting on the bus in the ferry, I observed another scene. Many people seemed to be in a hurry to return home, especially students who were staying in Dhaka. Since all schools and colleges had closed, they realized there was no point staying in Dhaka anymore. Everyone, with eagerness, was heading back home. I overheard a student sharing his feelings about returning home. He said that he had never been away from his family for such a long time before. This was the first time he had stayed away from them for so long. When I first stayed in Dhaka, I too missed my family a lot. I would constantly think about them. But as time passed, I got used to it, and it wasn’t as hard anymore. However, for those who are still new to Dhaka, their hearts long for their families.

We crossed the ferry very quickly. After crossing the ferry, I thought that maybe I would reach home soon because we managed to cross the ferry in just about three and a half hours. However, unfortunately, we got stuck in traffic when we reached Magura. I had never experienced traffic on this road before, but this time, we got stuck. I asked a few people what had happened, and they told us that there was a group of people protesting ahead, which caused the traffic jam. I was stuck there for about two to three hours. Sitting inside the bus while fasting started to feel annoying. Whenever the bus moved a little, it felt much better.
Their protest seemed like it wouldn’t end anytime soon, but then I saw a military vehicle arrive. As soon as it arrived, the protest ended in an instant. The current situation in the country is really bad; there are protests happening everywhere for every little thing. The general public suffers because of these protests. I saw people walking along the road because local vehicles were not running due to the protest.

Around 2 PM, I arrived at Kotchandpur. After getting off, I called someone from the village, and they came to pick me up on a bike. Since I had my own vehicle, I decided to go to the Kotchandpur Payra Chattor before heading home. I had some work there, so I finished that work before going home. If I didn’t finish the work then, I would have to come back to the market later, so I decided to complete everything at once.

After getting home, I felt so good seeing my family. We exchanged greetings, and then I took a shower and freshened up. I rested for a while.A little later, my father came and said we had to go to Gourinathpur. Since my father doesn’t know how to ride a bike, I had to take him on the bike. After leaving him there, I returned home. On the way back, I noticed the road was surrounded by greenery, so I took a few pictures of the scenery.

By the time I got home, it was time for Asr Azan. I went to the mosque for the Asr prayer, and I met everyone there. It felt so good to meet everyone. I shared good and bad things with my friends and learned about the current situation in the area. After the Asr prayer, we went to the field to play. Since it was Ramadan, we usually play a short form of cricket in the afternoon. I spent the evening playing cricket with them. Cricket is one of my favorite games, and it felt so good to play after such a long time.
Then, it was time for Iftar. We all went to the mosque to break our fast together. It felt so great to have Iftar with everyone from the village after such a long time. Overall, I felt so peaceful coming back home from Dhaka. As the saying goes, "The tin house of one’s birthplace is better than the mansion of comfort."
