🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

Every Eid, we go out on a trip. This Eid, too, we decided to go out. This time, we planned to visit Jashore. So, early in the morning, I woke up and performed the Fajr prayer. After the prayer, I tidied up some household chores. We have three cows at home, and it is my responsibility to cut grass for them. Since we would be out the whole day, I thought it would be wise to get the grass early in the morning. So, I went out to the field to cut grass. After cutting the grass, I prepared it nicely for the cows.

Just then, one of my friends called me and told me to get ready for the trip. I left everything and went inside to take a shower. After bathing, I messaged my brother asking whether he would need his bike. He replied that he would. So, I couldn’t take the bike. I then called my friend and asked him to come to our house and pick me up. As promised, he soon arrived in front of our house, and we left together.

When we reached the market, we found out that no one else had arrived yet. So, we went to a restaurant. We first ordered coffee, but they told us there was no coffee that day. So, we ordered a soft drink instead and started sipping it slowly. While we were there, the others called and informed us that they had arrived. Then we set out for our trip.

We were riding on motorcycles and chatting along the way. It’s a lot of fun when everyone travels together on motorbikes. As we rode slowly, we kept talking, which made the journey even more enjoyable. After riding for almost two hours, we finally reached Jashore. Once there, we faced some trouble finding a place to park the bikes. Eventually, we decided to leave the bikes at a nearby hospital, where the parking fee was 20 taka. Paying 20 taka gave us peace of mind about the bikes’ safety, which was a relief.

After parking the bikes, we headed to a market in Jashore. Our main goal was to buy a mobile phone. Unfortunately, all the markets in Jashore were closed that day. So, we couldn’t buy the phone.

Wandering around the market made us very tired. We needed some rest and lunch. So, we went to the Bhairab Hotel in Jashore. We had eaten there before. The food quality is very good. We sat in an air-conditioned room and asked about the prices of different dishes. They were charging extra for fish, meat, and plain rice. So, we decided to order Kacchi biryani. Without delay, we placed our order. After eating there, we headed out to a nearby place called Deluxe.

After finishing our lunch, we went to the Jashore Cantonment area for a bit of refreshment. The surroundings of the cantonment were very beautiful. Because of the trees, the area was quite breezy. We all stood together and took a few group photos there. Our next destination was to visit Binodia Park. But there was still a lot of time left before the park opened. So, we sat and chatted around the cantonment area. Time passed quickly as we relaxed and enjoyed our conversations.

Eventually, we got ready to head toward the park and rode our bikes there.

First, we bought tickets and entered the park. None of us had ever been to this park before. This was our first visit. The park looked really beautiful. As soon as we entered, we took some photos. Then we started walking around together. The environment inside the park was very pleasant — beautifully arranged with greenery and trees. Despite the heat of the day, there was a gentle breeze, which felt refreshing and comforting.

As we walked a little further, we saw a lake. In the lake, we noticed fish coming up and eating food. It was a beautiful sight. There was also a lovely bridge that crossed the lake from one side to the other. The design of the bridge was quite modern and attractive. Since we were out with all our friends, there was naturally a lot of photo-taking going on. We stopped there and took a few more group photos. Others also took individual pictures however they liked. We spent quite a long time there, enjoying the views and making memories.

After that, we moved a little ahead and came across a large banyan tree. On top of the banyan tree, there was a wooden platform (a "macha") built. We climbed up and sat there. Sitting on such platforms is always a special kind of fun — and this one was even more unique because it was built atop a tree. This spot gave us a new kind of adventure. It was a treehouse-like platform on a large banyan tree. Because it was elevated, there was a lot of breeze up there. We sat there for quite a while, enjoying the place.

When we climbed up the tree, my friend Imran couldn’t find a place to sit. So, we made him stand there for a while. He stood there for quite some time, and we kept joking around about his standing position. After a long session of playful teasing, we finally let him sit. Since the place was so nice, we spent a long time there, chatting and relax

In this way, the day after Eid turned into a beautiful and memorable trip for us. The whole experience was full of joy. Whenever friends get together, it's always a lot of fun. Once the Eid holidays are over, everyone will return to their busy lives. But I hope that whenever we come home again, the bond of our friendship remains strong and unbroken.
