Sea Mermaid Restaurant: A seaside food experience in Chittagong..

Hello traveler. I hope you are all doing well. After a long time, I have come to share a new travel experience with you.

Actually, due to not being well in body and mind, I have not been able to go out for a long time. In such times, I used to visit at least one of my nearest tourist spots every week.

However, traveling can improve our mental health and bring joy to our regular monotonous life. I am a travel loving person. I like to explore new places.

In today's post, I will share with you an experience of visiting a restaurant which is located very close to the sea, especially it was established to provide food service to the tourists who come to visit the sea beach.

The name of the restaurant is Sea Mermaid. Although it is a restaurant, many people visit it to rest because along with food, they have built it like a rest place. They have everything necessary to attract the tourists who come to enjoy the sea, so it is the first choice of everyone who comes to visit the sea.

It is located 10 kilometers west of Chittagong city, next to Fouzdarhat Link Road, near Kattali beach. It is located on the shore between these three popular beaches of Kattali, Halishahar, Patenga, so most of the tourists come here to enjoy their food and time. Anyone can easily visit here as various city bus service passing by this restaurant.

Tourists visit this area all the time, so they keep their service open every day of the week and their restaurant is kept open till 10 o'clock at night depending on the closing customers. Although its opening time is 10 am every day, most visitors insert here in the middle of the day and during meal times.

There is no need to fulfill any kind of formality to enter here or any advance booking is required. They have enough space for the customers, in which there are separate sectors for different types of customers who come with families, separate sections for those who want to organize any event or party and sectors for couples as well.

After entering this area, the green small decorated trees all around catch the eye. Outside the restaurant, there are some hut-like seating areas for the visitors in the field. Visitors can also enjoy their meals here if they wish. When I went, I liked the outside environment very much, so I sat in a hut seat there.

The surrounding environment was quite enjoyable from where I was sitting. And the open seating huts made the surrounding air even more enjoyable. Soft music was also set in the background so that the visitors do not feel bored while visiting here. So although it is a restaurant, its environment was clam, tidy and environment friendly in a word.

Let's come to the food service of the restaurant. Sorry that I don't have any pictures of the menu, but they had all the lunch, drink, dessert items that a reputed restaurant should have. But to be honest, their food pricing is comparatively higher than other places. And there are many reasons for their high food prices since there is less beautiful environment-friendly restaurant in such a place.

Most visitors come here for lunch or dinner items. The price range of their platters is from 350-700 Taka/16-32 STEEM. The high priced platters also have more food items which were mentioned in detail in their food menu. I ordered beef biryani and two types of ice cream. One good thing is that there was no extra service or VAT charge here.

Although the price of the food was a bit high, the taste was worth the money. I didn't even notice that my whole plate of biryani was finished in short time. And the food was presented very beautifully which made the food even more tempting. One scoop of chocolate and vanilla ice cream was enough which I enjoyed for a long time.

In terms of taste, they have kept the quality of their food top notch, there is no doubt about it. Anyone will enjoy eating such tasty food in an open environment. And their behavior was very polite and gentle which is the most important part of a food service which they managed beautifully.

There were some swings on one side of the restaurant for the visitors. I sat on a swing for a while, it was quite enjoyable. I spent almost two hours there.

Although it is a food service area, there is no chance of being bored here under any circumstances. You can also visit with your friends and family if you want.

Moreover, by pre-booking, you can customize any of your special moments like birthdays, engagement ceremony, party etc. by decorating them as you like.
