I live in Chittagong, the second commercial capital of Bangladesh. Since I have lived in this city for a long time, I have had the opportunity to travel to many places of interest in this city. Chittagong city has numerous places to visit. I recently had the opportunity to visit Kaptai Lake. So today I am sharing with you some of that Kaptai Lake.
Kaptai Lake is the largest lake in Bangladesh. It is located in Rangamati district of Chittagong Hill Tracts.Its spread across Rangamati Sadar and Kaptai Upazila.It is one of the tourist centers of Chittagong region.
Kaptai Lake was created to set up a hydraulic power plant to meet the electricity needs of then East Pakistan in Bangladesh.The construction of which started in 1956 and ended in 1962.
It is a lake of about eleven thousand square kilometers created by damming the Kharsrota river of Bangladesh.As a result of the creation of Kaptai Lake, 54,000 acres of agricultural land is now submerged in the water of the lake.18000 families are settled.
Kaptai area has the largest interesting hanging bridge, Rajban Vihar, the largest Buddhist community in Bangladesh.The whole lake is a landscape of beauty created by the combination of huge bodies of water, mountains and hills.Several ethnic groups of Bangladesh live here, their lives are varied and interesting.
Travelers travel to Kaptai Lake to learn about the diverse lifestyles of the ethnic communities, to enjoy the immense beauty of nature. Moreover, the hanging bridge of Kaptai Lake creates a different feeling in the mind of tourists.

I am not sure what living in a city has to do with the opportunity to travel. I can only travel if I have money and feel to it. Where I live doesn't matter although travelling can be harder because in the countryside there is less public transport. You are lucky to have a lake in the city. It sounds a bit strange to me but for sure it is a good place to relax and flush all the rush of a busy life away.
It would be good if you read others and invest time in writing good comments. Engage so you will be noticed. Promote yourself by commenting and upvoting different peopel.

Thank you very much for such a constructive feedback. I will try to do better in the future. I am doing this to learn from other users on this platform. Kindly link me which type of posts on this platform will update my writing quality if I follow more.
I did #wewrite if you use the link you will find lessons which might help you. You can also join the freewriters where we freely write without too much thinking. My advice is to try to write as you talk and before you post reread and delete if you believe it's too much.
