The Diary Game | 2nd July 2025 | The morning was quiet in Rajshahi city.

This morning was a little different. Because I came from my own division Dhaka to the neighboring division Rajshahi. Yesterday, one of our elder brothers arranged for us to stay in a mosque. Where we spent the night very comfortably. As soon as the dawn broke this morning, we prayed and thought of taking a walk for a while. So we were walking through the city streets when a few lamps were lit on the lampposts above the road. The atmosphere of Rajshahi city is very clean.

Rajshahi division is currently very modern and clean among all the divisions. I have been to Rajshahi before so this city is very nice to me. I was walking around the city in the morning but I did not see any shops open and I did not see any people.

Everyone works till night so no one wakes up in the morning so we walked along the clean road and stood in front of a round circle which is called Baro Rasta Mor. There are twelve roads around Ekul Circle. This round circle is formed by combining those twelve roads hence this place is called Baro Rasta Mor. See how each road is divided in the pictures below.

Since we were at a mosque at night, we finished our hustle and went to our destination. We were freshening up and sitting there for a while when the elder brother who had let us stay last night brought breakfast. He brought us many parathas.

Rajshahi parathas are so delicious that you won't believe it until you try them. This paratha is very thick and chewy which will give you an incomparable taste. We all ate two parathas together and had delicious vegetables with it. We all ate together on a big plate so it was a friendly moment between us.

Then we left there to visit several tourist places. We walked around in the morning until noon to see various spots. Then to freshen up a bit, there was a market or a mosque nearby and we went there and stood there. There was a washroom nearby and after freshening up, we rested for a while in front of a clean pond.

The pond that you can see in the picture below has a very big history. This pond is a pond from hundreds of years ago. Hundreds of years ago, people used to bathe in the water of this pond. But suddenly, for some reason, people would die in the water of this pond, but no one could find out how they died or who died. Since then, this pond was transformed into a cursed pond.

However, with the evolution of time, people have updated, so all the tourist places have been renovated. This pond was once very dirty, but now people have cleaned it and built brick walls around it. You can see that the water of this pond is very clear because a lot of fish is currently cultivated in this pond.

However, after walking a little from there, we went to the Padma River next to it. The most beautiful view of Rajshahi is on the banks of the Padma River. We went there and spent some time, then in the afternoon, after praying, we went to a place called T-Bandh, which is the most important public spot in Rajshahi.

Here, a place like the letter T has been created, with a completely paved road from one side to the other. It is located right in front of the Padma River. Many stones have been placed in front of the river water so that the ground does not break due to the flow of water or waves. We stayed here until evening, then we thought that we would go to another place and spend the night, so we went there.

We chose auto rickshaws as our means of transport to go to each place. In the meantime, we had to have dinner at night, so we went and stood in front of a restaurant. Many vehicles were gathered in front of the restaurant. Such a scene at night is not seen every day, so I took a picture.

By looking at this picture, you will understand how magnificent the atmosphere of Rajshahi city is at night. This picture shows how busy people are. I especially found the lighting system of Rajshahi city at night incredibly beautiful.

Then we came home and all of us had dinner together. One of our elder brothers had made us dinner today which consisted of roasted chicken and tandoori bread. Then after dinner we all went to bed together and ended the day like today.
