Actsofkindness : Free health services for the underprivileged
Free health services for the elderly
Today is a joyous day for the residents of our village, especially those less fortunate, as free healthcare services are once again available as a demonstration of our concern and commitment to public health. This activity, held at the village hall, is part of the regular integrated health post (Posyandu) program, which targets a wide range of groups, including toddlers, pregnant women, and the elderly.
health immunization for toddlers
Since morning, residents have been arriving at the village hall. They came with enthusiasm and hope, bringing their toddlers for health checks, immunizations, and growth monitoring. Pregnant women also attended to check their pregnancies, including blood pressure and height measurements, and direct consultations with the health professionals provided.
Equally important, the elderly were also present, sitting neatly and waiting their turn to be examined. They received services such as blood pressure and blood sugar checks, as well as brief consultations regarding common health complaints. Friendly and professional Posyandu staff served them patiently and thoroughly, making residents feel comfortable and cared for.
Crowded atmosphere at health service facilities
This activity demonstrates a concrete effort to maintain and improve the health of the village community. In addition to medical examinations, residents received education on the importance of maintaining a healthy diet, environmental cleanliness, and the importance of regular health check-ups, especially for toddlers and the elderly, who require special attention.
The atmosphere in the village hall felt lively and warm. In another corner, staff distributed nutritious supplementary food for toddlers and pregnant women, such as mung bean porridge, healthy biscuits, and milk. This was done to ensure that health services went beyond examinations and provided direct support to local residents.
providing nutritious additional food
We are very grateful for this free healthcare program, as it truly helps the community, especially those who have had difficulty accessing healthcare facilities. We hope this initiative continues and that more people will benefit, as health is a right for everyone, without exception.
