Enjoying the Twilight Nuance at the Ramadan Culinary Bazaar with Family

This afternoon the sky began to change color, presenting a beautiful twilight nuance around Simpang Rangkaya. Golden light swept the sky, creating a warm and calming atmosphere. The air felt cool, and the wind blew gently, adding to the comfort of this afternoon. My little family and I decided to take a walk to the Ramadan culinary bazaar, not to shop a lot, but just to enjoy the atmosphere and spend time together.

When we arrived at the bazaar, the atmosphere was so crowded. Many visitors were passing by, busy choosing various takjil and food to break the fast. Traders lined up neatly to break the fast. Traders lined up neatly along the road, offering various delicious dishes ranging from fried foods, mixed ice, Acehnese Rumbia porridge to satay and roasted chicken with tempting aromas.

I held the hand of my little daughter, Naura Delisha, who seemed curious to see the crowd around her. Her eyes sparkled with a sense of tofu, seeing the various foods and drinks served. Occasionally she pointed at something that caught her attention and I smiled, enjoying this precious moment.

My wife walked beside us, occasionally engaging me in conversation while enjoying the scenery. We were not in a hurry, just walking slowly, soaking up the warmth of togetherness amidst the hustle and bustle of the increasingly crowded bazaar as it approached the time to break the fast.

In one corner of the bazaar, I saw a vendor selling durian es teler, my favorite drink. But this time I decided not to buy it, because we planned to break our fast at home together. I just enjoyed the sweet aroma of durian that wafted faintly in the air, while watching people busy choosing their iftar dishes.

As Maghrib approached, we decided to return home. The journey home was pleasant, with the dusk sky getting dimmer and the atmosphere starting to calm down. Upon arriving home, I immediately prepared to break my fast.

When the call to prayer sounded, I expressed my gratitude and prayed in my heart so that I could immediately drink a sip of refreshing water. Beside me, Naura Delisha sat quietly, looking at me with her adorable innocent face.

After breaking the fast, I took a small plate and told my wife to feed our daughter. She seemed to be enjoying the food I gave her, occasionally the food my wife gave her, occasionally she smiled happily. This moment felt so special, not because of the food we ate, but because of the togetherness that was built in it.

Today may seem simple, but it is full of meaning. Walking around the bazaar while enjoying the afternoon atmosphere and breaking the fast with family is an irreplaceable happiness. Ramadhan always brings precious moments, teaching the meaning of gratitude and togetherness in simplicity.
