Meet A Steemian with 40K Steem and looking for more

in Traveling Steem3 days ago (edited)
I have now been on Steemit.com for two and a half years, including the first few weeks learning the ropes and posting nothing significant that brought no result.

I still remember that back then I found @colombiaoriginal and posted one fictional story that didn't click, but a suggestion came from @josewas217 about how that community functioned.

Meanwhile, someone suggested that if you go to the blog by @disconnect, you can understand how things work.

Once I figured out how most of this new blockchain site Steemit works and fortunately the introduction of SEC at or about the same time brought me the enormous opportunity for participation, even if the format of contests was not to my choice.

I mean, even if I found the SEC contests monotonous since everyone was writing the same, I was kind of hooked, and I took part in 3-4 contests every week, and even if I won none or almost none, I kept posting because Steem curators were supportive enough.

I also believe in setting goals, as it gave me something to look forward to, and despite having an offline project, I set my eyes on the first dolphin that came in 10 months. Was that something to be proud of? Yes, that was, and my next came in five months, and the third took me even less, and then, as if fate were smiling on me, Steem crossed 0.25 and brought SBD into the picture.

In the meantime, I crossed rank 70, and things that seemed like a cakewalk until then turned tough, but I am a tough nut to crack having achieved long-term goals in the offline world, so it was the same here too. I never doubted that it would take a lot of time to reach the next dolphin status, but I was ready to wait, and they kept coming.

I think one of the plus points for me is the whales voting while out for a midnight walk, which is daytime on my continent. Maybe they wanted to vote because they felt people needed their vote, or maybe my club status attracted them since I am in Club 100 from day 1, or, you can say, during my entire stay on this site, barring in the period when I paid liquid Steem to my contestants.

By then I had become part of a couple of communities as a moderator and a nonperforming cofounder of the Dream Steem community that helped too.

Now I come to the point of this post and announce that there is a new 8X Dolphin in the pool. I have now reached the 40000 SP mark and am marching towards my final, the ninth, before I try to make eye contact with an orca, which according to @weisser-rabe eats men (and not women). Yes, she has no idea that Orca finds no difference between men and women and eats both with the same savory sauce. I still remember the smile when she said she had no interest in "Men eating orca." I asked myself, 'Why not?' Only time will tell.

To be honest, I have always wanted to be a dolphin, maybe because of the big vote that came with #dolphincluband. Now the big vote was no more on my posts ever since my second dolphin post, but it hasn't decreased my interest in writing these posts because it gives me more SP makes me stronger on Steem Blockchain, and gets me motivation unlimited.

With more SP in my account plus the delegation from SC01, my vote adds more value to my vote and immense satisfaction. I feel pleasure supporting a small account, especially the minnows. Have you ever seen my messages on newbies' posts?

Here comes the million-dollar question, "What next?" The answer is to swim for the ninth and the Orka, of course, and then the journey continues. However, I feel with multiple opportunities available for Steemians as the Steemit Team is constantly creating new avenues, it should not be tough to find for all Steemians to make their way toward their goals.

As far as I am concerned, I do feel it may take me another 4-5 months to reach Orca depending on how things go, but it should not be very difficult unless something goes wrong.

So guys and gals, if my post makes any sense to you, just keep adding your SP and Dolphins to your kitty. You will soon see your power increasing at a faster rate than ever before.

Let me end this post with my promise to come up with another dolphin post in no time before trying to have a meeting with a man-eating orka.

I invite @patjewell, @simonnwigwe, @josepha and @suboohi

Thank you so much!

Okay, my friend, I was a victim of the generic masculine ;-)) I'll correct my expression and suspect the orcas of man-eating ;-)))

Congratulations and best wishes for your future plans! You are someone who not only sets goals, but achieves them.
