Exploring the Beauty of Cox's Bazar: A Day Filled with Scenic Views, Delicious Cuisine, and Cherished Memories

I wish you all are great and in good health with your family enjoying a lot. Recently, I had a privilege of expending a few days at this beautiful place Cox’s Bazar with my family and I must admit that this is one of the most beautiful place in Bangladesh and famous all over the world as the longest sea beach of the world. All things considered, our expedition spanned a mere three days; however, we stand witness to the idea that there is no time for wasted sightseeing or fun-making; true to its word, every moment counts. Today I am going to take you through one of the incredible days that we spent at Cox’s Bazar having mesmerizing beach sightseeing, great local food experience, and some quality family time that we could not have had in any other place in Bangladesh which made this trip most remarkable.

Our journey started in the early morning when reached Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka, first ever experience of sleeper coach bus. As we had only three days in our vacation, we planned for every single moment that we got. The next morning everyone woke up refreshed and well rested, the kids had their breakfast and I was able to dress my little one for the day. It was our 2nd day of vacation.. Our plan was to visit Inani and Patuartek beach, two of the most beautiful places on the shore.

What we did was to hire a local vehicle we named “tomtom” and our scenic tour took place along the Marine Drive Road. It was somewhat awe inspiring – hills on one side, the vast sea on the other and fresh cool air that made our lungs wake up. The journey covered about one hour but this was not felt like this due to the beautiful environment observed. During our time at Inani Beach, we enjoyed a relaxing presence in the calm and crystal watered beach.

Our auto driver suggested us to proceed to Patuartek Beach that had even clearer water and the feel was amazing. Our little baby was enjoying and playing in the sand; and our helping hand suktara was also enjoying with having a first look of Cox’s Bazar. I bought her a flower crown, she happily wore it to take pictures. Of course we took a lot of pictures in order to remember these bright moments and bring them back to life.

After that we prepared ourselves for lunch so we plan to go for Palonki which is one of the most popular restaurants in Cox’s Bazar. I loved the atmosphere and, throughout the meal, the food came out in such beautiful brass plates. We decided to give a variety of their most delicious dishes; vorta platter consisting of eight different vorta, loitta fish fry, coral fish curry, vetki paturi, pahari muragh vuna, ghono ghee tadka dal and basmati rice. Each dish was full of intense taste and that food was perhaps one of the tastiest meals we could ever eat.

So after our good lunch we went back to the hotel for a while to take a rest. In evening we were taken out to Flight Deck, which is an area provided to defence persons for spending their time at a beach. Rolling along the coastline drinking tea, the sun was setting, phosphorescent, beside us. Thankfully it was one of the most relaxing things I’ve done, and I will always remember my time there.

For our last meal of the day we dined at Cox’s Carnival, it holds several restaurants in under one roof and there was live music playing, which made the atmosphere lively. We had another delicious meal and everybody was happy, joyful, and grateful all through the evening.

The main beauties and pleasures were the impressions from the beautiful views of the beaches, tasty meals and priceless minutes with beloved ones. I had a very good time on that particular day, and I am glad to be afforded an opportunity to be in that part of this world. Indeed, a day could be well-spent in Cox’s Bazar.
