Día tras día disfrutaré sin atajos de su amor.
Formar parte de sus vidas ahora, y también después.
Estar allí si cansadas sienten desmayar sus pies.
Formar parte de su infancia, no perderme ni un segundo.
Porque los días se pasan y se hace más pequeño el mundo.
Disfrutar de sus historias favoritas y enseñarles:
"que la vida es más que un cuento". Mis consejos he de darle.
Princesas, sí. Más en reinas guerreras de sus destinos
se convertirán mis niñas; las guiaré a conseguirlo.
Aprenderemos el arte de la música y galletas,
He de verlas convertidas en mujeres bien completas.
Les enseñaré la fe en mi Señor, dulce Jesús.
Cuando puedan decidir caminarán en su luz.
Si discuto con su papi, haré que vean que hay perdón.
Deben aprender lo bello de la reconciliación.
Hablaremos, niñas mías, de todos sus intereses...
de barbie, y las princesas. De todo mientras que crecen.
Luego, tocaremos temas sobre qué serán de grandes.
Y podrán ser las mejores en lo que elijan. ¿Lo saben?
De mi cuenta correrá que sonrían aun en las pruebas.
La vida no siempre es rosas. Pero el dolor se supera.
La belleza es más que un rostro colmado de maquillaje.
La piedad es joya hermosa que suple cualquier ropaje.
¡Mis niñas! gracias por darme en mi juventud el gozo
de ser madre y su amiga. Este es el don más hermoso.
Va a ustedes mi promesa de cuidarlas siempre, siempre.
Y estaré allí para hablarles cuando necesiten verme.
Day after day I will enjoy his love without shortcuts.
