The Diary Game - Better Life 11 July 2021
Hello, dear Steemians,
I had a fun and busy day, because today was my cousin's wedding. I was with the bride and groom all day. I woke up at 6 am as the wedding time was between 1 pm-5 pm. We went to the hairdresser with the bride. Yes, at 6 am :) We spent three hours at the hairdressers. The bride and I were ready by 10 am. We had time for the wedding, and we went to the groom's house. I mean, to my aunt's house. We were very hungry because we didn't have breakfast. We had breakfast at my aunt's and waited for the wedding time.
The weather was incredibly hot. I wore traditional clothes, and it wasn't easy to carry those clothes. Both those clothes and make-up forced me into the heat. The guests began to gather at my aunt's house, and the house started to get crowded. Everyone got into their cars, and we made about 20 cars for wedding convoys. We started touring in Başakşehir with loud music and horns. I am sorry for this noise tour, but that part was so funny. We arrived at the wedding hall towards 1 pm. The bride and groom went to their rooms. After spending some time with them, I went to the living room with the guests.
And the best moment of the wedding began. Halay time :) I love halay. I danced the halay during the whole wedding. That was so fun. The wedding was over at 5 pm. Everyone took a souvenir photo and started to disperse. Of course, young people had more time to have fun. After-party time :)
We rented a boat with 30 young people. We went to the Bosphorus for after-party. In our culture, the bride and groom do not have many opportunities to have fun. In general, the guests have fun. This after-party was perfect for the bride and groom to have fun. Towards evening, we took a place on the boat. Firstly we ate something. Then we started taking photo. We were on the boat in the clothes we wore at the wedding. And it was an unmissable opportunity to take the photo.
I shared my favorite photo with you above. As I told you before, my sister sells traditional clothes. Kiras. She also sewed our clothes at this wedding. The clothes you see in the photo belong to my sister. She's doing an excellent job. Last summer, there was no wedding because of the corona, but this year there is a wedding almost every week. I hope she sells well.
We returned home at midnight. We were exhausted. As soon as I got home, after resting for a while, I went to bed.
