Contest: What do you do in search for motivation?
Hello my fellow steemians, I trust you all are good. I'm glad to participate in this contest which is a good initiative that's organised by @steemghana.
I am here to talk about, "What I do in search of motivation." But the discussion hovers around the word Motivation. Firstly, what is motivation?

Motivation has a whole lot of meaning or definition. Some say, "motivation is the driving force which causes us to achieve goals or dreams." However, Motivation is the key engine that initiates guides and maintains one's defined goal or purpose.

The word motivation is frequently used to describe why a person does something or the readiness of a person to pursue his/her goal. Although, most people find it difficult to motivate themselves, or they don't know-how. It can get worse if one is experiencing medical/mental problems, financial issues that could lead to depression.
As for me, how I get myself motivated, in the same way keeping me going. Here's what I do.

Connect yourself with family and friends; these two bodies are the best support one can ever have because they will guide you in your journey thereby sharing with them your goals, and they will encourage you by giving you their support. As for me, family and friends are the best.
Try to surround yourself with positive people with great minds. They don't have to share the same goals with you, although they are ready to support you with brilliant ideas and advice that will subdue the thought of depression.

Seek for a mentor, as for me. I seek someone who has experience in the habit I want to change or someone that shows the same interests and has overcome such challenges. My mentor is a listener.

And lastly, travel. Yes, change location, go out, meet new people because that helps me to be motivated as it improves my self-esteem. Also, draw closer to God, pray and have a quiet time with Him.
This is what has been motivating me and I hope you find it helpful. Special thanks to @njaywan, @nattybongo and @oppongk for the opportunity to participate.
Thank you
