Greetings all and sundry. It is a great privilege to come your way this day. I am sure that you are waiting for the results of the contest and I am glad to share with you the results. As time went on, we became friends. She calls me for virtually all her financial needs. She was still in school back then so most times she will call me for school fees, sometimes for school expenses like text books and the rest. I remember once she called one morning, almost crying on the phone that her exams was in two days time and her courses for the semester was not registered including part of her school fees was not paid. I asked her about her parents and she said her Dad travelled. I didn't even have much so I promised to give her something the next day which I did. I had to close my account giving her all I had.

I couldn't sleep on my side as it would be very difficult for me to wake up from bed. I had to lie on my back and whenever I mistakenly lay down on my arm I needed the assistance of my twin brother to stand up. There were times that I had to take painkillers just to ease the pain. It was a whole year of pain and suffering and to top it all off the treatment was costly.

In life, Situations happen to us all. Life is like the two sides of a coin, exciting and challenging times we experience, whether we desire it or not. Whatever challenges comes our way, we should endeavor to come out strong. Challenges create tough times, but tough times don't last, only tough people do.

I went to the hospital, I saw a medical doctor and after examination he said I had umbilical hernia, he said I needed an immediate surgery, I was surprised because as a nurse I have an idea most signs and symptoms of hernia so I excused him and came back home.
