WHAT LEADERS SHOULD DO TO SUSTAIN ACTIVE MEMBERS-Steem-Ghana Contest.
Hi everyone this is the first time I am partaking in a contest since i join steem couple of months ago. As the intro to the contest clearly states, the success of the community is hinged on active participation. This means that without active participation from members, steemit would size to be a social platform. Without wasting much time, I believe leaders of steem-ghana community should do the ff;
source
Giving Promotions to active members that constantly engage by commenting, upvoting and guiding newbies on the platform. They can measure their success by checking the impact of their engagement and how they have been able to assist newbies. By taking this tasks, you reward them through voting or branded steemit products that could serve for promotional purpose as well. This would not only help retain newbies, it would also help active members to stay and constantly engage with each other which in the long run would help sustain the community.
Supporting Active Members with low SP. By this, I mean those active members on the platform with low SP could be supported by leadership to catch up with the rest or at least to a point where their Steem Power would help them earn more rewards. I believe this would help other inactive members not only to be active, but to be more engaging than before since they have the chance to be supported by the community.
Reaching out to Members and finding out why they are not as active as they used to be would help. By this, I mean active members who constantly engage but have stop all of a sudden due to some reasons. Leadership should make efforts to reach out to them and listen to why they are not posting as they used to do. Leaders should always empathize and must not hesitate to guide those Active members who are gradually becoming inactive. Thank you @kookd and @oppongk for the contest.
