A Beautiful Portrait By @Whitie, date: 19/03/2025

Day full of liberty and precious greetings to all steemians. I'm very excited to participate in this new competition (No. 74). I will try my very best to win. I want to use this opportunity to congratulate the winners from competition 73.
I'm grateful to WOX community, for this creative contest, and best of luck to all contestants. I'm sharing with you all a portrait of a woman in the kitchen.

This portrait was bought by my father; it was a gift to my mother as a symbol of love. Today I will be drawing the portraits, and I hope you like them because I will try my best in the painting.

Tools I use in my drawing

SL NO. Name

  1. A4 Paper

  2. 2 HB Pencils

  3. Eraser

  4. Pencil Cutter

  5. Ruler

  6. A portrait of a mother pounding in her kitchen.

Here are the step-by-step instructions I use in drawing the portraits.

First Step

I draw a square shape with two straight lines inside the square, making it sharp.

Second Step

In this second step, I draw another two straight lines on the right and join them together to the left line.

Third Step

I made sure the drawing was very sharp, then I added a curved line to the four straight lines, one on the right and left, both up and down.

Four Steps

In this step I draw a Mortar with the woman legs that was in the portrait I like, starting from the bottom to the top.

Five Steps

I drew the woman's body while she was sitting, holding the pestle with her two hands while pounding. When I said pestle, it was a club-shaped round head stick used in pounding or grinding.

Six Steps

I drew the woman's head joined with her body while she was still pounding.

Seven Steps

I draw her hair and make sure the drawing is clear by painting the hair and the pestle with black. Now my black-and-white drawing is ready.

I really took time on this drawing because I was focused. This drawing talks about a hard-working woman who always cares for her family and what they will eat; she doesn't care about the stress. Passion and attention drive me on this beautiful drawing.
