We generate some of our own electricity - I would like to be completely self-sufficient, but here in the city, at my friend's house, that would not be possible. You could be just as independent of all the suppliers - and in my opinion that would be the right way to a) avoid such supply failures and b) take a little of the influence away from the monopolists among the energy companies. Decentralised supply, self-consumption and collective use of the surplus. But nobody listens to me...

Wir erzeugen einen Teil unseres Stroms selber - ich wäre gerne vollständig autark, aber hier in der Stadt, bei meinem Freund, wäre das nicht möglich. Genauso unäbhängig könnte man sich von allen Versorgern machen - und das wäre meines Erachtens der richtige Weg, um sich a) solche Versorgungsausfälle zu ersparen und b) den Monolpolisten unter den Energiekonzernen ein wenig von ihrem Einfluß zu nehmen. Dezentrale Versorgung, Eigenverbrauch und kollektive Verwendung des Überschusses. Aber auf mich hört ja keiner...
