RE: Talk Channel: "Comment or ask a question"/ Comente o pregunte (week 267) in the WOX

I know one of the old stone factories is changed into studios for artists (gosh I envy those guys) the rest? A part of the churches became shops or homes, people buy them.

With us it's rare children will take over the business of their parents. Most of us go our own way, we passed that time that children do what parents expect and you do it for you and not your offspring it's the same with the house you buy. You pay it off till you die and what isn't payed of the insurance will and that amount goes to the bank. If children inherent in 98% of the cases they cannot pay the tax (you have to pay taxes of a gift which an inherence is). So the house is paid of by the insurance and will be sold to pay the funeral or dump the parent in an elderly home.

The empty shops are all victims of the government who forced them to close while the big supermarkets selling everything just like the pharmacies and gasstations made big money. Those big supermarkets already knew the covid virus would arrive long before it was announced. With the high prizes of electricity, gas and the rent it's hard to pay without an income. My eldest still has her shop but the rent for it, it's very tiny, is over 1800 euros per month and no electricity or anything. She has two other jobs to pay for it and still pays for those months she was forced to be closed. This is what most people face and the fact there's no money left to buy anything. First the toy shops disappeared, next the gift shops. the vets, the dentist, the flower shop closed.. as you can see all luxury items, same for clothing shops especially those willing to sew your jacket or trousers if it doesn't fit well, the gaming shop closed although it sold second hand games and merchandises and the give-away-cabinets increase but many are empty or if you put something in it (toys, clothes, books, CDs) it's gone within 1 hour. There's only one shoe shop left, the library is small but at least there is one, the banks are gone and only 1 atm left. If you are in debt you cannot start again

Thanks for the info how it all started.
Can I imagine a community where no user exceeds the 1000 SP? Yes I can and they exist, since there are still people who like to be read and chat like on all the other social media and whatsapp where no one gets paid for chatting.

_On the other had there are small communities where everyone delegates the SP to one person (who pays them with upvotes and even in their own valuta in real life) and this system clearly works.
I know what you mean but also that it can't be expected they same always upvote while the rest takes the credit and doesn't care.

The situation of a population can be altered by the actions of its governments. If governments harm, it affects the social part, but above all the economic part. This can be an acceptable excuse to sell or abandon any family business. However, someone who values a property or a business will try to maintain it and even improve it, because that somehow makes the path or development easier.

We know that we must develop a selfless culture of participation, but the essence of Steemit is the reward for the content, so we cannot omit that characteristic. We can say that by promoting the power up, a message of empowerment is sent, where users invest in Steemit from their rewards.

There are users who invest in Steem, to take advantage of it without depending on others, using a strategic method of renting their Steem Power in exchange for votes, which is reasonable as long as the content complies with the platform's policies.
