RE: Talk Channel: "Comment or ask a question"/ Comente o pregunte (week 266) in the WOX

Why I comment

Commenting is a habit so I will always leave a comment behind. It can be a tip, a link or idea, a thought or something else. Even if I have no clue what the author writes there's always something that I see that makes me wonder (title, size of photos, a part of the text, hashtags). Perhaps I say what I see/feel if I read a text

Did comments help me?

Some with tips and advice, others with info I was looking for and the best of all is I made a few friends through commenting (I will ignore those who envy and hateful people).
I always try to reply to every comment unless these are comments like: Okay, Fine, Next time, Thank you and AI-generated comments.
I spend many hours per day commenting.

@cryptopie is an excellent commenter. He always answers and has great, informative stories to tell. I like to read and answer "chat" with him. His comments are as good as his posts.

@grebmot is a great commenter (don't believe him if he says he is just blabbering, it isn't true). I find him interesting, love to read whatever he writes and his comments are not different from his posts .

@suryati1 is a good commenter. I like to read her comments and we discuss topics and also other parts of life wherever the talk leads us.

@vipnata is another great commenter. She shows interest and a few times I wasn't able to answer her in one comment because I reached the max of characters.

@greatketty is a good commenter although her comments are short she engages with many just like @mamamasha which is the whole idea of social media.

@aneukpineung78 is good, and sharp and through his comments I know him (he tends to show up where I am and notices the same which I find cool and is good for a laugh).

@gems.and.cookies mainly comments. He is the drive behind the #photochain and is always ready to leave a message behind (humour included). To me, people like him are worth gold and comment contests and also communities should have people like him welcoming Steemians, giving hints and sharing info where it's needed.

There are more commenters although they don't all write long "epistles". A part of them leave a comment behind and answer a reply. Others seem not to have time for that or perhaps internet data/connection or a busy life plays a role.

@the-gorilla is a great commenter and entertaining and so are a few others I leave a comment or reply to.
Some are at times absent for weeks like @rokhani and @cicisaja or they stop talking to me
I noticed there's also a group that does comment but mainly talks to one or two others and that's it. The reason?
On average I can say that those I leave a message do reply (sooner or later which is fine) except for those who use AI to send me a comment.

Some people rarely comment but do write great comments if I ask them about their skills/talents. I don't see any difference if it comes to the most known communities or the Korean or Chinese. If you know where to look you see in these communities they comment too and I start to believe they are more active than the most "famous" communities we know.

Who are those willing to comment?

I tend to say those with brains, a strong will and creative people are the real commenters (not the AI users or those who say in short what your post was about which feels very impersonal). They all have some skills even if they say the opposite.

On the other hand, I also see creative people who find it hard to comment and promote themselves because? I could say these are all introverts but this isn't always the case. Some might go for the quick post and see Steemit as an extra opportunity to post the same piece of art or see it as storage, others might have learned that after years of being on this platform, one rarely receives a comment.

and yes, @adeljose you and @joslud are good commenters as well.

_P.s. I won't give the names of the others because you will take the commenters I found and write to to upvote which gives me a lot of extra work! LOL

Actually, I would have just smiled and thank my sweet fortune that you feel that way about me. And leave it at that. But you did mention PhotoChain and you know me when it comes to that, I don't miss any opportunity to do a plug 😄 and a comment. Please please everyone, do read up about this challenge and join us in the fun. There, I said it. And you did say it was okay to comment anything even if it does not pertain to the topic at hand 🤭

 yesterday

Greetings friend @gems.and.cookies

Thanks for taking the call from @wakeupkitty.pal, I've been checking out #photochain, but we'd like you to share some details about it. What is it about?

Hi @adeljose. I don't know exactly what one does as a moderator of a Community but it must surely be keeping you busy. But despite that you find the time to check out PhotoChain. Thank you very much in behalf of the contest host. Now to answer your question. PhotoChain is a weekly photography comment contest. No need to make a post to enter. It has 2 winners every week. At the start of each week the contest host announces 2 keywords or objects that each participant must show in a photo. After entering their photo (only one), each participant must choose one object found in their photo (excluding of course the 2 keywords of the week) as their own personal keyword. If he or she wins, then this personal keyword becomes the next object to be shown for the next Round. Since there are always 2 winners, there will always be 2 new keywords every week. So as you can see, each week is connected to a previous week and to a previous week and so on, all the way back to the first week of the contest! This explains why it is called PhotoChain. It is like a chain that links everything to the beginning. Just like a blockchain.

I hope I explained this well enough for you and everyone to understand. To further help in explaining, I am providing you with the link to the very first week when this contest started. Please click here.

I hope that you may be able to join us in this Challenge. The 2 keywords for this week are Break and Empty. It is up to you how to show these 2 in a photo. Then, after doing so, you need to choose a third object as your Personal Keyword so when you win, that becomes one of the 2 keywords for next week. Exciting?

Thank you very much for the explanation, the truth is that I fully understood the dynamics. I will try as much as possible to join, I will see if I have it in my files, or if I should generate the scenario to comply with this week's theme.

Photographs always provide a reason to develop content, whoever has the imagination to capture something interesting can use it in their publications, on the other hand, it seems to me a good way for users to interact.

Thank you for joining us on our channel.

And to @wakeupkitty.pal. You are welcome and may I say it was a pleasure to plug in the PhotoChain in this channel 😀

I agree 100% on your take that photographs are also a good way to interact with other users. Spot on 😊

 yesterday

I find interesting your commitment to serve other users in a clear and constant manner, leaving a feeling that the feedback is endless, always looking for an answer from a comment.

There are excellent commentators on the platform, but I think there may be occupations that do not allow a fluidity from each one of them. For my part, I try to provide good attention, I have a continuous activity on Steemit, but I am not always available to respond, especially if I do not have my computer at hand, with which it is easier for me to translate content. In some cases I give a vote to let it be known that I have already accepted the call.

Thank you for mentioning these users who have the will to comment and support other users and content, let's hope that every day there are more commentators who join, I think that the return of the #affable project is needed to motivate interaction.

Terimakasih temanku, saya sangat senang sekali ketika anda membalas di postingan saya, walaupun awalnya saya sangat berdebar namun sekarang saya selalu merindukan kehadiran anda di setiap postingan saya
