Time to batten down the hatches
That's right we have cyclone Alfred category 2 on course for a direct hit on Brisbane in the next 36 hours....
The Gale force wind are about to start anytime soon and the swell at the beach has been pumping the last two days!!!
So many surfers have been getting tow ins from jetskis. But it's "death on a stick out there"
The imbeciles have already cleared out all the toilet paper at the shops. And most of the shelf's are bare.
And the line up for sandbags have been ongoing through out Brisbane the past 24 hours...
So we have been cutting down trees around the house and clearing all the debris from the back yard that could turn into torpedos as winds are expected to hit up to 165km/hr
They are expecting lots of flooding across south east Queens land and Northern New South Wales.
With over 750mm possible to fall from Brisbane Queensland to Coffs Harbour in New South Wales.
There hasn't been a cyclone hit Brisbane since the 70s so it will be interesting to see how this all plays out over the next couple of days.
Here is a photo from my veranda just now. It's just light rain and a bit of wind at the moment so let's see how this play out.
Stay safe out there and I'll see you on the other side 💨⛈️💦🌀
But on a lighter note
