Lady Elliott island on low tide
Lady Elliott island off the coast of Bundaberg in Queensland Australia is the most southern part of the a great Barrier reef.
The best way to get to Lady Elliott is by light plane.
After we spent a day snorkeling on the island it was time to fly back to He inrvey bay.
As we left the island it was low tide so it was amazing to see the island from above and to see just how much the tide changes compared to high tide.
So much of the surrounding reef was exposed. It doubled the size of the island at lowtide.

Wow! How many feet are between sea level and the beach border?
The island is about 6 foot above sea level. Not very high at all.
Wow. Interesting. Very good. Thanks!
Very nice pic!
Thank you 🙌
