There is so much more to the walls we see in our lives. They are definitely not just the structures we see. Walls represent more than mere objects that keep us away from others; they can hold within them a deep sensation of loneliness or an inner sense of promise. Some walls are skewed, some are bare, some have gaps, some become a kaleidoscope of colors, and others eventually crumble away.

The day began with my usual routine and headed towards KIET arriving a bit late as usual 😁. Since it was the semester break the university was mostly empty with only a few students around. All the group members were already there. we gathered at the tuck shop and discussed how we should start and present our ideas. We talked about the tools, domain, language, and length of the project.

We have gone through different stages of life together and without having any altercation ever in our time together. We usually go on trips and we have explored a lot of places together. Even a single person among us cannot go on a trip without having others with him. We share a strong bond and hardly have any of us imagined life without the others.

Of the six brothers, Patrick is the one who most loved fishing. We others did too, but not as whole-heartedly. Our childhood home was only two short blocks from the Fox River as it flowed from southern Wisconsin through northern Illinois to eventually merge with the Mississippi. In The Four Quartets, T. S. Eliot called that legendary river "a strong brown god, sullen, untamed, intractable." Pat and the brothers closest to him in age, Tim and I, would have agreed. From our own experiences with the Fox we would have added "dangerous" to the adjectives.
