World of Xpilar Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 5 Update and Contest Winner
In a Gameweek where Matty Cash, Thiago Silva and Ismaila Sarr top scored with 15 points, those holding any of these players performed well. In our Steemit League, it was a battle between Ronaldo and Salah for captaincy with 17 and 13 selections respectively - Salah winning this week's battle outscoring Ronaldo by 12 points to 6.
So it should come as no surprise that this Gameweek's top scorer owned Sarr and captained Salah to achieve a Gameweek score of 82.

A familiar story for @jimah1k who has now won a total of 62.5 Steem in this Fantasy Contest and the Fantast Euros and already has a spot in the WOX Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame. If this fine form continues, another entry is on the cards.

This win puts @jimah1k in 2nd place, closing the gap on @the-gorilla at the top. @captain36 sits in 4th place overall with a Gameweek score of 70 which means that he is currently sitting in 3rd for the confirmed entrants.

I think I’m starting slip again in this seasons FPL and it’s all because I don’t seem to make the right transfers 🥲. I still have to clear the injured players from my squad.

Well, that’s the problem here. I’ve played my wild card already and I played it to get Ronaldo on my team. Now my team is so messed up with about 4-5 players unlikely to play this week 😩
Just had a look and I think you'll be ok. I'm not sure about Raphina but I'm pretty certain Bamford will play - I'll keep an eye on team news today and tomorrow.
I still have a feeling of taking off some of players just to be on a safer side.

I had high hopes for Digne at the beginning of the season. But he didn’t give me any points so I sold him😂. It looks like bamford won’t feature in this week fixture, am tempted to make a transfer this week I had wanted to keep my squad and prepare for something big next week.
I think most people will be thinking the same thing that you're thinking for GW7 🤣 It's certainly what I'm thinking.
I think Bamford will be ok for the weekend. I'll keep an eye on team news but it doesn't sound like a bad injury and it's a good excuse not to play him in the
