Hello steemians and my fellow artist/creative minds in @worldofxpilar how is the weather over there? Happy new year. Welcome to 2025.
I'm back with something different. This year is gonna be great. I got a lot to share with you. Stay tuned.

Okay let me get down to the business of the day. I'm here to present my most recent realistic graphite pencil portrait of my recent personal piece I did for myself.
The drawing is one of my best portrait of wolf.
I took my time and sat down to drew this wolf I'm in love with wildlife now.
There's this interesting facts I just found out about wolves that really blew my mind.
Here are a few.

True Love

I found out that once a wolf has found a mate, they tend to stay together for better or worse, through sickness and health, often until death do them part.

Big Hands

The average wolf’s foot size is comparable to an adult human hand, at 4 inches wide by 5 inches long.

'Wolfing’ it Down

Wolves can eat a huge amount—as much as 9 kg, in one sitting! Hence the saying, “wolf it down.” The alpha male is first to eat and will devour the most meat out of the pack, followed by other pack members and/or scavengers like coyotes and vultures.

Wolves Can Die for Each Other

It is being known in addition to this trend toward monogamy, wolves develop such strong social bonds with their family and other loved ones that they have been known to sacrifice themselves for the survival of the pack/family unit.

Intelligent Marathon Hunters

They have been known to track and stalk their prey for hours, well into the night. And they have the added bonus of a high IQ and excellent senses of hearing and smell, all of which they put to good use in rounding up their next meal.

That's just a few from the numerous facts that makes the wolf unique and special.

I have other drawings of wildlife and other domestic animals that are waiting. I will share them here one after the other till next month. Just stay tuned. Enjoy the progress shots and never fail to leave a comment telling me how it looks. Thanks for going through. See you in the next collection.

Here are the steps on how I did the portrait. I made my sketch then started shading it gradually. Starting from the head, hair down to her face and to the whole work which includes the legs, body and tail.
I made sure I did a very good detailing for a clean finishing.

Thanks again.

I loved it! Thank you so much for sharing with us this creative process, @tempestinyang. Hugs and greetings from Mexico!

Thanks for your kind words @vickaboleyn. Greetings from Nigeria.
I observe my fellow creative steemians hardly engage on my post. You can access my wallet and see how my progress is so slow.
Please what can I do to get constant support?

You can promote it in your social media like X, Instagram, Bluesky, Mastodon, Facebook, also in Telegram. I think in Telegram and Facebook there are many groups focused on Steemit.

Wow! Do you mean the promotion on other social media platform will bring extra attention?
