Blunt Grasshopper
Blunt grasshopper
today, I intend to look for some, insects that are above the leaves, because I walk too early while breathing fresh air, around the house, in the morning.
in the last few months, it is very difficult to get several different types of insects, or types of beetles, compared to last year, I got a lot, different types of insects and beetles.
but today, I saw a mashed locust, which had a difference, with another type of grasshopper.
this type of grasshopper, has like:
- shorter head section
- bigger size
- slim body parts
- long leg
- smooth antenna on the front
- the eyes are a little big
- leaf green
some of which I mentioned above are characteristic of this blunt grasshopper.
The morning sun is not yet shining brightly, so I get a little light, which enters the lens, with the impression of a dark color.
some other movements of this type of locust, although with small movements, these insects only move, about their original position. in taking this picture, I still use a macro lens.
to make this grasshopper look, bigger, than the original.
the difference between these grasshoppers, the other grasshoppers are, these grasshoppers, cannot produce sound, from the friction of the feet and wings, on the back.
but on other grasshoppers, it can produce loud suras, from friction, between the legs and the rear wing, another term is strings.
although this type of grasshopper, can not produce sound, but this type of grasshopper, has other advantages, including:
- has wide wings
- has long wings
because they have this advantage, then this type of grasshopper, able to maneuver, in the air very quickly, until lost, do not know their existence anymore.
this type of grasshopper, if in a dim state, is between the leaves, in the forest, capable of emitting very different light, from the eye.
like the picture above and below, you notice.
You can notice, a few other images, below.
this is what I can say, on occasion, in the afternoon today, I hope you like to see it.
I thank you, all of you, who have seen and read, on my blog post.
I end with the words, greetings @sultan-aceh
