Braided Stuffed Bread — My way!

I find the concept of recipes claiming to be 'bakery style this' or 'bakery style that' a bit perplexing. If I crave bakery goods, I'll just purchase them. What I truly desire is homemade. Or perhaps, living away from main cities or quality bakeries, these recipes are meant for people like me. Yes, this is definitely for me and likes. Okay, I take back my initial words.

about today

Well this 👆 doesn't look anything like bakery, but it sure tasted heaven.

It was baked by yours only @soulfuldreamer for a farewell, and yet another, one-dish party. I kept my dish hush-hush until the end, not to surprise anyone, but because I couldn't settle on anything until the last minute.

Just went with the flow, made one bread braided and two breads in roll shape

In case you are wondering that I didn't know how to braid a bread properly, below is another one by me in a near - perfect bakery style.

Today, I decided not to braid it perfectly as I intended to cut it into slices later before serving, knowing that the shape wouldn't matter. However, there was no compromise on the quality and taste of the final product, which was well-received by everyone. The guest lady even mentioned that she liked it the most, subtly expressing her preference without undermining the other dishes. It felt good because I value the friendship.

So, what am I trying to imply here? Mostly nothing! It's just my kind of diary. Perhaps two or three takeaways, mostly for myself and not for you guys. Nevertheless, I'm going to share.

First of all, it's okay to do things your way. You don't have to meet some standards, like the bakery-style themed recipes. If you want to make it like that, no issue, but there shouldn't be pressure.

Secondly, never ever compromise on the quality of your product, at least in your own eyes. Make an effort to create something good with the resources available.

Thirdly, value good friendships and always make an effort to enhance their special moments. Go out of your comfort zone once in a while to contribute something meaningful to these relationships. You will undoubtedly feel good about it.

Last but not least, there isn't a single standard way to approach things. Experiment; and here's another tip: channel your efforts in the right direction. Take, for instance, my plan to cut the slices later; the shape of the bread won't impact the presentation. Why stress over and expend energy on unnecessary details? Invest that energy in something more significant. Just as I did—I made an extra dish, brownies, for this special friend of mine.

I have learned these little things over time. What the heck, I'm still learning, discovering new things every day. It's not my place to guide or tutor you people. These are just some of my humble opinions. After all, I enjoy interacting with you all, and I learn from each one of you. So, any comments, opinions, wisdom, or criticism are more than welcome.

Wrapping up the day with exhausted limbs and a heart full of joyous vibes.
Playfully yours,
Maan

Yumm yumm !

I'm absolutely sure that it tasted divine.

Remember, you offered to make a pizza for me yesterday? Well, you can make a chicken bread instead. 😆

Absolutely.
While I was making this today, I really thought of baking it for you.
Soon, dear.

I'm excited for the barbecue one dish tomorrow though.
Please keep your sweet dish hush hush.

Feelings are mutual.

And not keeping it hush-hush. 😄

Perfect or not perfect bakery style it’s the effort that matters at the end of the day and you got the payback in the form of compliment from your friend!!

You can't do that! I read this post after midnight and what should I do now? Go to the fridge?

To be honest, it looks very appetizing 😃. I love baking.
