📷 My new winter painting

Good day to all and happy new year 2022! Today I will show you my new winter-themed painting. This time I was painting a snow-covered landscape with a sunset. I think that someone will definitely like it :-)

I painted with acrylic paints on cardboard. The size is 40x50. And it all started like this, plus a good mood and a few brushes... At first, of course, there was a boundless sky with a bright warm sunset. A distant view with a forest and small houses in the snow.

Then I wanted to draw a half-frozen river and fir trees. It was interesting to draw snow. I wanted to make it very different, almost realistic as in nature.

Of course, the work was painstaking. It was necessary to make hundreds of small brush strokes to show the structure and looseness of the snow cover. The main thing here is patience and attentiveness.

Then write snow on trees and shrubs and at the end draw the wonderful inhabitants of the winter forest. I have a fox and my favorite fairy-tale character is a snowman :-) However, there are also birds in the picture. But how many of them, count?! A kind of mindfulness test!

Well, later I played a little in a special program, and that's what I got. It seems that the snow is moving straight, isn't it?

Well, and a few festive winter cards for the mood.
