Surround Yourself And Fill Your Life With Positive Energy

in WORLD OF XPILARyesterday

Over the years, and by reason of some experiences that I have gotten in life, I have come to understand that being surrounded by positive energy is a very important and strategic factor towards achieving success. There are ways to encounter positive energy - through the people you interact with, the things you feed into your mind, the environment you stay in, etc. If any of these is not adding positively to your life, then they are not positive energy to you. The kind of energy you allow on a daily basis will determine your level of confidence, how motivated you will be, and how productive you will be. This is why you have to be conscious about your life and surround yourself with positive energy.

It is worthy to know that people are the most powerful carriers of energy. If you spend most of your time with people with negative energy, who only talk negativities, who complain a lot, criticise too much, or even discourage people, it will not be long and you will begin to think and act negatively. But if you spend your time and be in the company of positive people who will encourage you and influence you positively by their speech and actions, you will begin to think and act like them and you will see positive result. Just to let you know; positivity is communicable, then same way that negative can be contagious. If someone is not adding positively to you, then there is no reason being around them.

In addition to positive energy coming from people, it can also come from environment. Trust me, there are some places that you will be in and you will feel discouraged with life and a lot of things will lose relevance to you. But there are places you will be in, and you will feel motivated, inspired, and better. This is why I normally tell people that if their life is not producing the kind of result that they want, it may not be as a result of what they are doing or not doing, it might just be a result of wrong location. Just to let you know; the place you spend your dominant time in will either break your spirit or uplift it. You need to create an environment that will motivate you and uplift your spirit - it may be in your home, workplace, etc.

You have to be intentional about where you stay at everytime. Always let your environment reflect the kind of moment that you desire. I once visited a friend and right inside his room, there were some motivational and inspirational quotes. Not just that, he would have some cool music playing in the background. At first, I did not understand the reason behind all these until I asked him, then he explained calmly, he said; "Sammy, all these are part of what keeps me sane and uplifts my spirit." I then understood why he was so conscious of his environment to make it to influence him positively. A healthy environment improves one's clarity and even leads to better productivity.

Another way to surround yourself with positive energy is to be mindful of what you feed your mind. You need to be careful and cautious about what gets into your mind. There are many pathways by which things get to your mind; like from what you see, what you hear, etc. Do not allow negative news or gossip that may feed your mind with negativities. You should rather spend your time on positive things; reading motivational materials, watching healthy and wholesome things, and having good conversation. What goes on in the mind can affect the rest of the body in ways that cannot be explained.

The last way to attract positive energy is to learn to practise gratitude and thankfulness. By being grateful, you tend to focus more on the bright side of life. In fact, by being appreciative of the little wins, it will make you to get the motivation to do more. More so, I have also discovered that gratitude can actually open the doors for the inflow of more blessings. At every point in life, always look for what to be grateful for.
