Happiness And Success; The Relationship

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 days ago

A lot of people have the mentality that success leads one to become happy. However, what they fail to understand is that one of the very vital factors that can necessitate success is happiness. It has been said times and again that when one is happy, it generally tends to improve their mindsets and make them more positively inclined, thereby making them to perform tasks at a better rate, which also leads to success. You also need to understand that happiness is not just an emotion, but it can be a powerful tool if wielded correctly - a tool to trigger motivation, inspiration, and productivity, which can bring about the required success.

It is worthy to note that a very important relationship between success and happiness is that happiness helps one to be more productive. When you go to a company where they have a happy workforce, maybe because of one incentive or the other, they normally have an increased energy, zeal, enthusiasm, and efficiency to work, which produces results and leads to success. In fact, there is a kind of energy that surges through you when you are in a happy state. But if you enter a company with a sad workforce, productivity will be limited and even when they work, they will not give their mind towards it because their heart is not in the job. You see, when you are happy, it tends to make you more productive, which makes success to become a natural occurrence.

In addition to increasing productivity, happiness also makes one to have a positive mentality, which also helps them to make better decisions. People who are generally happy tend to make better decisions than people who are not. A joyful and happy mind enables someone to make clearer, more logical and rational decisions, not the one born out of fear or other emotional strains. When you are happy, you approach challenges with a solution mentality, rather than being engulfed by the challenges. I have also noticed that even when you take risks when you are happy, they tend to be more calculated, which has better chance of producing positive result, than when you are sad.

Happiness also makes you to easily make friends and can enhance social networking. Of course, you will agree with me that you need people in order to achieve some form of success. A lasting success; in life, business, work, etc, has to be built on good relationship. When you are happy, you radiate positive energy, which makes you attractive, and people will feel comfortable coming around you. But if you are sad, you may repel even those that should have helped you achieve success. Just to let you know; people are carriers of opportunities, and you tend to attract them by being happy and carrying a positive energy.

Coming to the aspect of your health and vitality, you need to understand that happiness does good to the body like medicine. Having a good health is a form of success on its own. Joy and happiness can ease up on stress, which makes the body healthier and reduces the likelihood of illness. It is when you are healthy that you can pursue after your dreams and aspirations. So at the top of the requirements that you need to achieve success is a sound body and sound mind. A sound body and mind can be enhanced by making happiness your lifestyle.

As a way of conclusion, you need to know that happiness is not a destination, nor what you do once and then stop doing, rather it is a journey - a progression, what you do as a lifestyle. More so, you are a direct beneficiary of you being happy. It does not mean that you are not faced with challenges, but it means that you have made up your mind to stay positive even in the midst of the challenges. It is true that offense will come even from the people that you do not expect them to come from, but you still have to make the right choice to be happy. It is not what happens that makes you who you are but how you welcome or respond to what happens. More so, you need to disassociate from the people and things that always make you sad. After all, it is your life and you have a choice of association.
