The title says enough about the state of the States. There is no rebellion against the onslaught of the stupid. Last night in the U.S., millions of over-worked, under-loved Americans watched the championship football game on TV. Earlier this year, one of the quarterbacks signed a 260 million dollar 6-year contract. Every player on the field is a millionaire. They play with a ball and have loyal fans. The Texas-sized plastic island floating around the pacific is gonna get Alaska-sized pretty soon.
Any one out there have a little place for me and my wife in the hills, far, far and away from the stupid? We have some money (for a while anyway), and you can have all my art. I would like a fireplace to burn wood for ambiance. Just leave the ax by the door. I’ll walk and ride a bike, and ask for a wifi connection because I must stay connected to my daughters back home.
