TRX has been sneaking up a little, too, which could make Steem attractive for a totally different community.
I was just thinking the other day that I used to enjoy being able to give out ten or twenty cent votes from my manual voting account. I think it's much easier to retain people if there are lots of accounts that are able to give out decent sized votes.
Anyway, fingers crossed that this isn't just another pump & dump.
Right now, it "appears" to have slowed down, but I think that's mostly because BTC is mooning.
It definitely does help when the price is higher... I think what I valued most was being able to hand out 5-10c votes on worthy comments, AND meaningfully vote on favorite posts... and still not go much below 80% VP.
Let's hope it holds up!
