Drawings or Paintings? - Ran Art Blog

While I draw on paper, when there is color involved, should I call these paintings?

What is your opinion?

In this drawing I used warm colors (red, orange, yellow).

This second one, like most of my drawings lately, is done with markers and colored pencils.

For a drawing (or painting) to look good, do not draw it from side view or top view.
It is more interesting at a three-quarter view.

When you group objects, do not arrange them by size or any other pattern.

And use overlapping when possible.

To draw most objects correctly, you do need to learn perspective drawing.

When you set up a light source for your scene, make sure there is enough contrast.
