My new YouTube channel!steemCreated with Sketch.

Hey guys! Welcome to another one of my post. I hope you are having a good day.

You might have noticed that I haven’t posted in a while, and I’m sorry about that. I think when I started off, I was too over confident, and that made me burn out even quicker. I just couldn’t keep up with the expectations I had set for myself, so I took a break. I know I just barely started, but I think I needed a fresh start. I’m not promising anything, but now, whenever I have time in between of school, and other stuff, I will be sure to write a post.

Usually, at this time of year (wheat harvest season) I get pretty sick. This is because I have allergic asthma and this year, I also got an infection in my lungs. This is also the season in which school starts, and this is the first year I’m in middle school. These are all the reasons I have not been posting recently, but I am sorry.

Apologies aside, today, I am writing a post about gaming, and how much it has effected our my daily life. I know gaming is not one of the healthiest hobbies, but it is one of my favourites. The best part is, I can do it without going outside, which means I can do it, even when I’m sick. Recently, I have gotten more into gaming.

A lot of my friends play games, like Minecraft, and Roblox. One of my friends even has a YouTube channel! On it, he makes videos about gaming, and some other niche topics. Because I couldn’t leave the house a lot, I decided to try these games, and I really like playing them. I started playing with my friends, pretty much daily.

As I said before, gaming isn’t the best hobby, and you shouldn’t play too many games, but I don’t think it’s the worst hobby ever. Besides, it’s better than sitting on your phone, watching Tik Tok, or YouTube all day. Talking about YouTube, I always did want to make a YouTube channel. Not as a career, but just a hobby. That’s part of the reason why I started writing on Steemit, and being inspired by my friend, I finally did. But I promised myself one thing, if I wanted to do YouTube, I had to first continue Steemit. And I’m gonna keep that promise.

On my YouTube channel, I make gaming videos, about games like Minecraft. Today, I actually made my first video! It didn’t do too well, but i didn’t expect it to. It is my first video after all. While making my first video, I had to add some kind of voice. It was either going to be an AI voice, or my own. In the end, I decided I was going to use my own voice. I didn’t like the way AI voices sounded. So when the time came to record my voice, I could barely talk. It took me 5 tries to actually say something. And when I finally did, it didn’t turn out too good. It took me 15 tries to actually get the clip I wanted.

I’m not gonna share the link to my YouTube channel, though I might do it later. For now, I just wanna see how much I can grow, without any external help. Lets see how far I can get! I have been inspired for years, by my favourite creators, and I wanna see if I can get anywhere near how far they’ve gotten. I’m not the best at playing games, but if I don’t practice, I can’t get better, can I?

I don’t have really high hopes for my channel, and I don’t know how far I’ll get, but what I do know, is that I’m gonna try my best and stay consistent (on both YouTube and Steemit). I don’t wanna do what I did on Steemit, and burn out too quickly, but this time, I have some experience. I wanna stay consistent, but not too consistent, make good content, but not waste too much time. But most importantly, I wanna keep on posting on Steemit.

Anyways I guess this is the end of my post. Bye!

You may remember that all the games I play require either a board and pieces or cards ;-)) I can't and don't want to discuss video games - it's probably like everything that's fun: it all depends on the right balance...

What I do know for sure is that there's no need to apologise if you're not feeling well. Nothing is more important than getting through such phases as well as possible. I wish you a bearable summer!

Hey Mudassir, I'm really sorry about the asthma, I hope you get rid of it one day. But I think you're making the best of it and that's a good thing.

I wish you lots of fun and success with your new YouTube channel. You have a pleasant voice and as the Gorilla said, take your time ;-)

I’m not gonna share the link to my YouTube channel

You've kind of given it away in your first screenshot!

It turned out well for a first video and I think you made the correct decision to use your own voice. The AI voiced videos have never appealed to me!

One suggestion - try to slow down a bit when narrating (unless that's how fast everybody talks these days 😆)

Hello! I know I shared a screenshot, but I assumed no one would be able to find it, considering the amount of channels with the same name.

Thanks for your suggestion 😊 I’ll make sure to talk slower next time.

I assumed no one would be able to find it

There's the @ username like on Steemit - I was able to search on that 🙂

It's a good first video.

Your little friend is also inspired and wants to start his channel.
