Sharing a Special Life Story and My Future Plans
Hello Everyone, I'm Back! š
Hi, dear friends in the Steemit community,
I'm pinkcastle, and itās been exactly a year since I was last active here. Honestly, this past year has been like a roller coasterāfilled with ups and downs. One of the most significant experiences was the ending of a relationship, which not only made me reflect on life but also deeply influenced my connection with Steemit.
A Unique Chapter in My Life š
I still remember before I posted my last update in 2024, how excited I was to introduce Steemit to my then-girlfriend. At the time, I thought, "This platform is amazing! It's perfect for sharing and documenting life. It would be so fun for us to explore it together." She joined the community soon after, and I was full of hope for the future.
However, life doesnāt always go as planned. Just a month after she joined Steemit, our relationship ended for various reasons. It wasn't an easy time for me, and I decided to take a breakānot only from Steemit but also from a lot of other aspects of life. Looking back now, I don't regret sharing Steemit with her. I don't regret the journey either.
This whole experience taught me the true value of documenting and sharingāwhether itās joy or pain, every moment we experience has meaning. Thatās why today, Iāve decided to move forward, let go of the past, and begin a fresh chapter on Steemit.
Lessons Iāve Learned āØ
During this year, Iāve grown and learned a lot. Here are a few things I want to share with you:
Loss isn't the end: Though the breakup brought sadness and regret, it taught me to embrace changes in life with grace and resilience.
The power of community: Steemit has never just been a platform for me. Itās a warm and unique world that helped me regain my passion for sharing and storytelling.
The beauty of solitude: Spending time by myself allowed me to rediscover lost habits, like reading, writing, and exercising. Slowly but surely, Iāve found my inner strength and motivation again.
Growth through work: In my job, Iāve learned how to overcome challenges, communicate effectively, and work as part of a team. Facing these ups and downs has strengthened my ability to adapt and grow.
The impact of travel and nature:
Some of the most inspiring moments came from the scenery I experienced during work tripsāsparkling sunlight dancing on the ocean, rolling green hills framed by a car window, and the unique vibe of a city seen for the first time. These memories made me realize just how vast the world is and how much more of life I want to explore.

These experiences helped me step out of the shadows of my past and fill me with anticipation for the future.
My Plans After Returning ...
Now that Iām back on Steemit, Iām excited to share more new content and reconnect with this amazing community. Hereās what Iām planning:
Sharing my life and stories: Whether through travel journals, writing projects, or thoughts about my hobbies and passions, Iāll be creating posts to share with all of you.
Rebuilding connections: Iāll actively comment, participate in discussions, and reconnect with old friends while making new ones!
Documenting my growth: Iāll use words and images to capture the precious little moments in life and preserve this exciting new journey.
A Big Thank You š
I want to thank everyone who has accompanied me here on Steemit and those of you reading this post now. Your kindness and support have made this community feel so warm and special to me.
While the past is an inseparable part of my story, the possibilities ahead are endless. Reconnecting with old friends and meeting new onesāthatās what I value the most right now.
If you have time, please feel free to share your story or catch me up on your recent life in the comments! Letās continue writing the next chapter of our Steemit journey together! š
HI @pinkcastle, I was checking on your blog regulalry and was wondering what are you doing and how is your work going on because the last thing you moved to new place and also new job. I remember how you shared that you and some other colleagues were bew there and were working hard in order to get a long term contract.
I also remember your girl friend who you introduced and who also started posting but then stopped. To tell the truth I thought that the job left no time for you for blogging, but also it was correct to concentrate on your work and career.
By the way I recently watch a documentary about this amazing city Chongqing and was fascinated how many modern technology and development is there. Have you visited this city?
By the way here is the link to this documentary unfortunately it is in German language but you can see the images.
It is really nice to hear from you and keep engaging when you have time.

Iām very glad to receive your reply! Currently, Iām still working as a software developer at a company here in Beijing. Over the past year, I have taken on the role of a project leader for several tasks and successfully completed them, which I feel has greatly contributed to my personal growth over this period.
Due to the relocation caused by the demolition of my previous residence, I had to move to a new place. Fortunately, the new location is still quite close to my office. I purchased an electric scooter for my daily commute, and it has been very convenient and easy to use.
Recently, I watched a documentary in which Chongqing was mentioned. Although I havenāt had the chance to visit Chongqing myself, one of my roommates during my postgraduate studies was from Chongqing. He was a true spice lover who couldnāt live without spicy food. Whenever Chongqing is brought up, I canāt help but think about the rich aroma of Chongqing hot pot and the unique monorail system that sometimes passes directly through residential buildings ā a remarkable feature of this city.
Your mention of Chongqing reminded me how Iāve had much less contact with this roommate since graduation. However, the days we spent together during our postgraduate years were full of fun and remain precious memories that Iāll always cherish.
Lastly, I wanted to ask: is Steemit still available only as a web version? Has an official app been released yet?

Wow! I amm very glad to hear that you are working hard and that you have such achievements. It is only because ofyour hard work and being so persistent.
The apartment that you had was very cosy but who knows maybe it is even better that you now moved, electric scooter is very popular here too. People here, especailly young peopple also prefer to take scooter, here you can rent it , there are companies that rent and such scooters parked outside you pay online and can use any to the place you need to reach and just leave it there after.
You definitely need to visit Chongqing once and also to post about that. Watching the documentary the train system and stations were like in Sci-Fi movies. Also it is a reason to meet up with your roommate.
