Spring Bulbs 🏰

in WORLD OF XPILARyesterday

Let me show you around the informal gardens on the south side of Ham House here in Petersham, London. It is a pleasant walk away from Richmond when the tide of the River Thames isn’t too high and the path isn’t flooded.

Here in Ham House the National Trust planted over 500,000 spring bulbs earlier this year which will flower over the next few weeks.

If you live nearby or fancy a day trip as the weather is ever so sunny grab your National Trust pass and check out the purple, lovely colour by the way, carpets of crocuses.

Better be quick as the crocuses only last a week. If you are lucky you may also see the famous local cat - Lord Roscoe, who has even been featured on the telly - BBC, the Antiques Road Show.
