Brunch 🍳

Lakeside has become a favourite place of mine for having chai latte with coconut milk. One of the very few places in London I sometimes go to and still doesn’t charge you extra for this exotic kind of milk.

This time we also ordered brunch. Both of us went for lamb sausages on sourdough bread with roasted peppers, onions and beans all under the warm and cosy blanket of a fried, still runny, egg on top. You can tell this is where I would rather be now other than sitting on my at least not crowded train as it’s half term - another two weeks when kids don’t have to go to school.

The sun was out and it felt nice, still cold though, around 5 degrees Celsius. We expect it will warm up for the weekend with temperatures going up to 12 degrees.
