Hilly Getaway! ⛰️

Are you one of those people who often feel like attending to the mountain's call?
In my case, the first thing that comes to mind when I hear 'vacations' is a hill station. Visiting a hill station in summers is a perfect way to escape the sweltering heat and its the best way to rejuvenate yourself.
The northern areas in Pakistan are a sensory delight because of their scenic views. The northern side of Pakistan is breathtakingly beautiful. People visit Pakistan from all over the world to enjoy this eye-treat. It possesses a plethora of stunning valleys and amazing waterfalls.

If you enjoy nature, then Pakistani northern area is a perfect destination for you. Here you have plenty of options like trekking, rock climbing, zip-lines, hiking and what not. And not to miss the road side roasted corn.

So, last year on this day, I wanted a getaway before entering into the hectic month because of my brother-in-law's wedding. We decided to go to Murree, one of the most famous hill stations, that stands out due to its charm. There is a place called lower topa, we decided to stay there. Like in every start of the trip, my husband asked me to show the itinerary and to his surprise it was empty; Because this time I wanted to enjoy only the view and not exhaust myself much as I was on the family way. As soon as we reached there, ordered soup followed by Chicken boneless handi and naan. We went to our rooms and got changed, then had tea in our rooms. Next day in the morning, we got up. I opened the curtains, the mixture of cold breeze and sunlight just made me fall in love with that place. After our breakfast, we both went to explore the newly renovated LowerTopa base and then there was a little photography session followed by archery and rock climbing (which of course I couldn't do because my son was cooking inside me). ;)

Lowertopa is one of the most serene places in Murree Hills. Our stay there was really special, we enjoyed each and every bit there. From having tea to watching our favorite movie together with our blankets on. This place is a treasure trove of Murree. Its a place that belongs to one of the forces of Pakistan, and here they offer rock climbing, good food, archery, zip line and you can witness the beautiful sights of Murree from this point.

My husband and I both crave to spend time amidst mesmerizing lush greenery which is not over crowded. We go here in summers as well as winters. In winters, it is snow bound. I am writing this because I have started craving for it again and I am gradually making F's mind so that he can take me to the mountains again.
