RE: 🪜 Do You Like Heights?

in WORLD OF XPILAR2 years ago

I have no problem with heights.
But when I find myself half-balancing on a roof on which I can't really hold on either... then I do have one. :-)

I just recently felt this way when I wanted to sort out the wiring of our solar panels. There was only a small passage between the panels to reach the other side. Unfortunately, no one else was willing to do it ;-)
... and luckily I was not attacked by bastards ;-)

I forgot to say that when I was stretching over to get off the ladder onto a roof, one of my legs cramped up which I had to try to ignore!

It looks like roof work is something that us solar panel owners need to get used to 🙂

I'm almost afraid so. The other day I was already thinking about whether and how often the panels should be cleaned... Unfortunately, ours are a little less inclined than yours.
I think I'd rather let the rain do it :-)

That's my approach - we get plenty of rain. My worry's those flying bastards dumping their load all over them although after (I think it's) 4 years, they still look pretty clean to me!

If I see a big drop off in performance, I might change my mind!

This might also mean that your roof will be easier to move around on - I find it impossible to stand up on ours so it's lucky we've got the flat roof to walk on.

Yes, absolutely! I wouldn't have climbed onto another roof either. That would be too tricky for me..
