It is all about butterflies 🦋 information. Where by i will be briefing you guys what you need to know about butterflies 🦋

Butterflies 🦋 are said to be fascinating, fragile and beautiful insects belonging to the order Lepidoptera.

What are some interesting facts about butterflies 🦋 :-

1. PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

■ WINGS - Butterflies 🦋 have two pairs of wings, with the hindwings being smaller than the forewings.

■ SCALES - Butterfly 🦋 wings are covered in tiny scales, which give them their color and texture.

■ BODY - Butterflies 🦋 have a slender body with six legs and two antennae.

2. LIFE CYCLE

● EGG - Female butterflies 🦋 lay eggs on leaves or stems.

● LARVA (CATERPILLAR🐛) - The egg hatches into a caterpillar, which eats and grows.

● PUPA (CHRYSALIS) - The caterpillar transforms into a pupa, where it undergoes metamorphosis.

● ADULTS - The adult butterfly 🦋 emerges from the chrysalis, its wings still soft and folded.
