Craig
This is Craig Blundell, ex drummer of the band Frost*, amazing drummer, super friendly, all around super nice down to earth dude.
I wanted to go a bit crazy with this one, with a touch of creepiness and a bit of fantasy.
The Process
Quick sketch
Blocking
Shading
Fine tuning
Also made an alternate (normal) version
All done in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet.
Hope you enjoy my work.

He actually looks like Anthony Rapp who played Lieutenant Commander Paul Stamets on the television series Star Trek: Discovery. You are very good in painting portrait, I like the expression of his face :)

You probably know how to do magic ... I like watching a portrait being born, I would like to see a more detailed process if possible. It is very interesting))
I should start making more time lapse videos .
Yes, when there is a quick flash, attention starts to turn off. This is a defense mechanism of the psyche. There is an average speed for each view. Too slow is boring. Thoughts run ahead of the process and irritation and impatience appear .. If it is too fast, then the defense that I talked about works.
There is an approximate time for one picture if you are shooting a clip (for example). This is something like 5 seconds per picture. How to apply this to the drawing process ... this is where you have to experiment.
It's important to find the right pace here :)
These are just my thoughts, I could be wrong.
